Obviously Gawny doesn't know what he's talking about because Clarry and OMac were definitely there 🤣

Why would those people make it up though? Is it something they do for kicks or popularity?

I just dont get it

Does a positive and three negatives make a positive or a negative?

I think it's a negative, but I'm not positive.

Well, if they are one and three after this weekend I think they'd call it a negative.

Hilarious though that the Blues can go into total crisis and still be a game ahead of Essendon.

As usual the umpire was below par. That free we got for holding that have us a goal was absurd.

But at least for us.

But there were others almost as bad from both sides of the fence.

Nonetheless one of the best games I've seen for years.

I hope we are choc full of confidence this weekend.

I reckon the long break hurt the blues. They were knackered in the last.

We had stamina.

Agreed, it's quite bizarre.

Vs Brisbane in 2023 when Milkshake scored a late goal to win the game.

vs Carlton in 2022 when Pickett scored a late goal to win the game,

top games them ones (I thought id quote some SEN speak as ive been listenin to the blues implode) n that lions win at gabba last year impressive after being down ...

Maybe Ang is masquerading as a Blues supporter and deep down he harbours an undying love and passion for the Dees.

It happens.

Voss is one of the best players I've seen - personally taking it upon himself to beat the Filth in a granny. We should all be grateful for that. But an aeronautical engineer he is not.

At my age - very much a matter of perspective.

I was stunned when Carlton appointed him as a coach especially after his track record at Brisbane.

Some premiership coaches dont even get 2nd chances at the top gig let alone s guy that proved to be an incredible poor coach at his first stint.

Carltank's board has traditionally not been stacked with aeronautical engineers either. A fair percent have spent time on the inside.

I was so disappointed Collingwood didn't go down the Ross Lyon path at the same time, would've been great to see them both stuff up so comprehensively. Unfortunately Collingwood made the right call with McRae.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.

  • PODCAST: Gold Coast

I’ll be away for the next few weeks, so Binman will be holding the fort for our podcasts covering the Suns, Bombers and Lions matches. As a result, there will be no live podcasts during this period, and we won’t be taking calls or voicemails. Binman will still be dipping into this thread to select a few questions to answer, while also combining the long-form Stats Files podcast with the Demonland Podcast for these shows. Your questions and comments are a huge part of what makes the podcast work, so please post anything you’d like to ask or say below and we’ll do our best to give you a shout-out on the show. Please try to keep each post focused on one specific topic or player to make podcast preparation a little easier. If you have multiple topics you’d like to raise, please put them in separate posts.
