Love your optimism Ghosty but with a 30 year old who is averaging under 8 games a season throughout their career I'm not holding my breath.

So what are you proposing? I'm happy with Ghost writer's optimism. Surely at this time of year we're treating every player on the list as someone who will still be there next year. Of course come next preseason that won't be the case for plenty . I'd just rather be glass half full than glass half empty with him. And yes I think most of us have concerns and can see reasons why McAdam may not last that much longer with us.

I don’t think Kate Bush performed on Games Without Frontiers. Pretty sure it was Peter Gabriel on his own.

Do we know what the injury is (besides the obvious) and has he had to have had surgery?

I heard its ligament related?

jeffo just hobbled off with a sore ankle after a salem tackle

Salo landed heavily on Jeffo’s legs. We thought it was his hip that was of concern but it was his ankle. He was given anti-inflammatory pills and he says it’s nothing to worry about.

All Cudos to Shane MacAdam, he is resolutely pushing through the long hours, days and weeks of often solitary work required to build his body back up, so an can impact on the field in 2026.

The Flash, himself.

It’s amazing the difference a comma makes

Nope! It wasn't an official duet but Kate Bush did the backing vocals (singing " Jeux sans frontieres")

Yes all well and good but I remain skeptical!

How was Jack Steele today?

I heard that St. Kilda finally named its own leadership group yesterday so he's no longer their captain. Hope he wasn't too upset about that.

Good news is that the Pink Lemonaide Cafe outside of Richmond station has re opened.

Bowey having a short distance kick to kick with J Rivers then on the bike.

Reece Conca was eating a banana.

A couple of players were firmly reminded that they had 5 minutes to be out on the ground. (Some players are out there 40 mins early and others with a minute to go).

No May or Viney. TC arrived late still in the brace, though on him it looks more like a horse collar.

CJ and Tommy Matthews were having their photo taken when Reg walked past and squeezed CJs bottom.

Max, Moose and Luker (no mask) were practising ruck work in the centre with Jamar holding the bag. Moose knocked Jamar to the ground.

Fritta did a warm up on the fence, similar to what I did at pilates last week. I was sore for 3 days.

Jeffo came off to get his foot strapped.

When I was young a broken arm was a plaster cast with 50 signatures. Culley had a large 'bandaid' on his arm.

Nearly everyone took part in the warm up drills. Luker, Petty, Culley, AMW and McAdam did not take part in the contested ball work. This group did some fitness work along the boundary.

Chaplin very vocal.

If Kossy doesnt win the medal it will be because Windsor stole some votes.

Was Steven May there?

No

Obviously no match sim today, but in any of the drills could you tell they are persisting with Koltyn off half back? Thanks

In the last drill I saw before I had to leave, the players broke into three groups, forwards kicking at the goals, the rucks and mids in the middle and the backs all doing a drill over on the wing which included the Kolt.

Great to see my namesake down there at training today decked out in the full MFC club gear.

Is this a part time role or just helping out for the day?

How has Laurie looked and where are they playing him? more mid or fwd?

At training he splits his time between the midfield and forward line, though he’s predominantly used up forward. That said, most of the match simulation drills aren’t traditional 18-on-18 practice matches. They’re more scenario-based, with the ball launched from different spots around the ground. Whenever I’ve seen the team train in genuine practice match conditions, he’s lined up forward.

I believe his son Marley is boarding at Xavier College and Flash was visiting before the season starts with South Cairns. There was talk of Marley being invited to training but unsure if that happened today.

He’s close with Rivers from their playing days.

Sorry weird question but when are we announcing our leadership group/ captain/ vice captain for the year

Love (for the dees) means never having to say you're sorry
