Sylvia will be better than Brock

Sylvia COULD be better than Brock. He has the potential to be a real star player, but until his body lets him, we wont see that happen. We've already seen the difference with his OP being more under control. He has been able to shrug his opponents aside and burst off on several occasions this year. My favorite moment of the year so far, and it may seem stupid, was in the Queens Bday match where he literally tossed some Pie player aside burst off, and drilled a pass into the 50 which set up a goal. That moment showed what he is really capable of.

Either way, I'll be happy to have both these guys in our side for 10+ years :D

Brock Mclean overrated.

I like Sylvia but theres no way hes better then Brock.

If he was better then he would be copping the oppositions best tagger like brock is now

Brocks just going through a bad patch while trying to learn to cope with the tag, like marc murphy was earlier in the year when stevens first got injured

What excites about both is their absolute zest for the contest. They're both animals on the footy field. They're the kind of player that I would absolutely hate if they wore an Essendon jumper. You can quite easily picture them in bully-boy mode in a strong premiership side (just think Scott brothers after a couple of flags). Brock is a very good player and on the brink of elite. Sylvia, to me, provides regular glimpses of elite but consistency has been lacking as a consequence of his atrocious run with injury. Both Brocky and Col are one healthy pre-season away from becoming one of the best one-two midfielder punches in the competition. I'm more confident than ever that both will become stars. Add Jones and Cotchin and the engine room looks healthy for many years to come.

And this is the way I am going to look at it as well.......

I actually don't care which one is better now or going to be better than the other.

The way I see it they both will hopefully become a fantastic team

And they will be working together to the benefit of the Demons for many seasons to come.

And how they work together is vastly more important than picking one over the other.
