Picks 7 and 15 for Trac, 28 and 42.

Sack literally everyone that signed up for such a putrid deal.

The SUNS get Petracca and our pick 28 and 42 we get pick 7 and 15 . Basically 3 picks for 2 picks in the SUN'S favour , you gotta be NUTS.

I'd consider

7, 8 and 15

for

Petracca, 24, 28, 41

Or replace 8 with a F1

I'd have 15 or F1 interchangable.

if we're going to the draft i was Lindsay and Srlj (or however you say his name)

Yeah Suns wouldnโ€™t have nearly enough draft points for this draft with the top suggestion.

Absolutely not our problem. why should we GAF what the Suns have enough points to do?

Satisfy our needs if they want our player.

Emmm, because the Suns wonโ€™t agree to it?! If we canโ€™t force their hand to do a deal for BH our chances of getting them to do a deal where they wonโ€™t have enough points for their academy picks are very slim.

Also if they go into deficit then their F1 will get pushed back. Makes far more sense for everyone to go 7,15 and a F1

Seriously, half of Demonland should be opposition teams trade negotiators because we're so much better at caring about their needs in a trade than our own.

What if we say that some picks in a thin draft aren't enough.

Pick 7 and 8 even in this draft are not worth 7 and 8 normally. in the top 10 alone there are 3 academy players, 1 father son and 2 free agency compensation picks.

All will almost certainly drop before our first selection (7) besides maybe the father son which is touch and go.

If we force their hand on less points, they may renegotiate and include Humphrey and get their points.

If they throw in a 2027 F3 itโ€™s a deal

Yes I agree- thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m i would rather rather 7, 15 and a F1st than 7&8

Grlj, pronounced โ€˜grillโ€™ as in the bbqโ€ฆafter all the bbq talk today there would be some irony if we missed BH and ended up with the Grlj instead.

I would ask Big Benny Brown to come back to the club for an encore performance where he takes his famous long run up and kicks the person that signs off on that deal in the balls.

Quite frankly i would sack anyone who would do that deal. Thats not doing Melbourne's job...thats doing GC'S.

Like it..

It's the actual starting point.

Not..oh he wants out.

The default position is... He's a contracted Melbourne player . The message to GC is.. "make a respectful offer". 2 tickets to kiddie land is NOT that offer. Think again.

ย

None of the above is MFC problem...above all the deal needs to be awesome for us remember.

Let's hope they're not just taking a talk they can't stick to because none of what is being tabled makes us better. If they don't get something good out of this, or walk away if it isn't good enough, they will be off to an absolutely shocking start with the new coach and Tim Lamb needs to go.

Afl & PA have lots to answer for as the power is with the player forcing them to rollover, giving up a 200 gamer Norm Smith premiership player pick 2,who has another 4-5 yrsโ€ฆ Club is caught between holding onto a player who wants out or accepting draft picks in a weaker draft, thatโ€™s not replacing talent!
