So out of what you just posted, whatโ€™s the plan?

Bartel, Scarlet, Humphrey all looking towards us?

Richardson contracted. Bartel was approached a while ago and he was int he process with Port. Still weighting it up but the fit works for him at melbourne and not having to move famly.

Scarlett - has a lot going on with work outside of football and has said he would be interested if it was part time. Dees want someone full time.

Humphrey definitely keen and MFC has asked to plead his case with GC. What GC do is the variable.

Tell me which part is more believable than me:

Melbourne wanted Humphrey and Flanders?

Proposed meet up that Tom nor anyone else knew about?

Secondary meeting?

Humphrey being told to push his case for an exit? That only came out today! I mentioned this days ago

Bartel being approached for next year?

Scarlett being convinced to go to the dees but he only wants to do it part time?

The mole at the club?

Most things i post were not reported on and some still haven't surfaced. Im not here to make you believe me

Curious what did you say about the mole at the club? I had my suspicions on who this maybe.

Is this new info RE Humphrey? Keen for demons landing now?

Keen on the Demons or keen on a 2025 return to Victoria?

Victoria, but it seems he realises its potentially the only way it gets done

I'm picturing one guy that kinda looks like Warwick Capper with multiple phones and a heap of burner accounts on Bigfooty.

They're mainly Collingwood supporters that live on the GC going to games to get a footy fix... So you're pretty much correct... Collingwood v GC is always pumping.

I'd be surprised if worrying about boosting a team which would be competitive for the flag is of much significance compared with other issues with list management.

Itโ€™s definitely a consideration. Iโ€™m not saying they wouldnโ€™t trade with Hawthorn or Collingwood, more that theyโ€™d prefer not to if they have a choice.

In other professional sports itโ€™s a serious consideration.

Especially in sports like the NBA and NFL where there are conferences that you need to win through to get a better spot in the playoffs

Donโ€™t need to be strengthening your rivals

This thread is getting a heavier workout than Trac at a Red Bull camp

Exactly this. If Tom Morris had a whiff of the Demons meeting with Bailey Humphrey and the supposed intel that has been posted here it would be splashed all over Trade Radio. Not a Tom fan but he is usually all over this kind of thing and at the moment I am not seeing that playing out.

Tom's still stuck on page 29, give him a minute to catch up ๐Ÿ˜‰

Excitement levels growing in hope ๐Ÿ˜… imagine a report comes out that we've been nominated by Bailey as his club of choice. It'll be ๐Ÿ’ฆ everywhere hahaha

Interesting Morris is reporting interest from lots of clubs but not a lot of mention of Melbourne

Wonder how much this is about showing GC that thereโ€™s lots of interest in him when he eventually leaves, so do the deal now with cellar dwellers Melbourne or get 6 cents in the dollar later as he goes to a flag contender youโ€™re competing with

Some lovely puppet strings being pulled behind the scenes

I'm not into personal attacks on Demonland, people can choose to believe stuff written here or not, but I'm still curious, how is Demon Forever's track record? Don't really recall any of his/her prior intel. Are we dealing with another goodwindees/Chook in Perth or Grand New Flag?

I have the best track record and haven't heard anything.

I think it's more that Melbourne have shaken loose the possibility of him being traded and other clubs have seen this and done whatever they can to give themselves a chance to get him. He's an absolute jet and it would be silly not to speak with him if there was a chance he'd move clubs.

I think we are uniquely placed to have him shake loose, with a situation and carrot for GC that other teams just can't match, but I'd hope we'd make the call too if the roles were switched around. That is, GC won't move him for another team and he's contracted until 2028, so the point is pretty moot.

exited, there is no chance of coming back from this!

Will we find out who it is or too low level within the club for their departure to rate a mention in the media?

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven Mayย

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
