The Bailey Humphrey Thread

You think it will be Humphry, pics or other player?

Hoping Bailey. Like really hoping its Bailey! The stars have aligned and the second meeting highlights this. But ultimately it comes down to, do GC rate Trac highly enough to think he can win them a premiership for them?

Its more than just Tracs performance, its the support he will get from fans and the people that will go through the gates. Its also a key milestone time for GC as its really the first time high cailbre players want in on their future

If Demon Forever knows what's happening, trust that so does Gold Coast, Melbourne and literally the rest of the list managers in the AFL

If we wanted to keep this stuff hush hush, we wouldn't walk around the most walked around track in Melbourne with Humphrey, nor would Humphrey post that not so subtle 'get me home' post on his Instagram

CAC used to come on here, and if he still does, I doubt he's reading the posts and going "WTF how do I not know this"

Hey Jaded, forgive my ignorance but who does 'CAC' refer to?

I'll meet you guys at the Tan tomorrow, see if we can join BH and King and Chunk for their walk? get our steps up

Big assumption that they will return to the scene of the crime. I myself will be stalking the Caulfield Racecourse Carpark in the hopes that they give BH a tour of where the foundations of the facility may be laid that his future father/son prospect might train at one day. Too soon?

Sorry I forgot not everyone has been posting here since Jesus was a carpenter

CAC refers to Cameron, GWS' list manager, who used to be our list manager, and would post here occasionally when he worked for the Dees

They can send the picks to us for Trac though.

And then they can't match their academy players this year without going into a points deficit, and risk academy prospects next year.

Craig Cameron, former MFC Head Recruiter and now current GC Head Recruiter. CAC was his handle on Demonland when he used to post here.

Do we know Tim Lamb's handle on here? 😉

Hi Tim!

It’s funni listening to Cameron the way he is talking is that GC are NOT TRADING OUT ANY PLAYERS (Flanders is one) but expects to get players in. Interesting.

This really is the silly season and full of lies.

Looking forward to the end of it tbh.

I reckon they're going to get some picks for Ainsworth and Rogers potentially.

Reckon that is a huge intangible for GCS.

Atm player movement to Qld is a one-way street to the Gabba! Rioli was a medium fish last year. Get Petracca and GCS can attract other top players and compete with the Lions as a northern 'destination' club.

Petracca will be huge to their standing and public perception.

I was basing it on them getting picks from Hawks for Humphrey and then on trading. So if Hawks give them 8 or 9 (whatever it is now) plus extras Suns hold 7, 8 & 9 and pass on two of those to us for Trac. They still have enough points for Academy picks then.

Can I be Jane Turner? Happy with Glenn too.

There's definitely talent there but most of it is very raw and needs protection to develop effectively.

No doubt, but protection means less opportunity. We will also be able to pick up a midfielder (like Shiel) who can play a role if we get injuries.

So Gold coast needs to decide petracca or Humphrey? Ball is in there court and which player gets them closer to a flag in next few years

Meanwhile, they risk Humphrey going to a competitor next year or when his contract is up, and the deal they get then will not be Christian Petracca.

Right, so trading Humphrey to one of their main competitors next year. Not gonna happen.

We hold all the cards.

It's okay. You can dare to dream.

But has he unfollowed Collingwood yet?

Because that's a requirement of his new contract at Melbourne

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
