Was waiting for someone to start on of these. Hopefully it will be a cracking game with the wind (Cranbourne Doctor?) behaving itself. Not sure who we have to adequately cover Wardlaw

Very much looking forward to this game.

Wardlaw was a handful last week. hopefully we can nullify her impact

this won't be an easy game. Saints showed plenty of guts last week and will be buoyed by beating the Crows. they have a good spine and will compete.

that said we have more class and if Hanks and Purcell can play like last week and we can get enough ball to tayla and zanker we should win

go dees

A 'zephyr' here at the moment. A southerly change may hit later?

very good first quarter. great intent and pressure

tayla playing well. pearce very good in the ruck. hanks and purcell getting plenty of it

i think we have the breeze in the second quarter so hopefully can fashion more clear cut opportunities

It's picked up v. slightly, and yes we do.

TH 3

Nearly 3 quarters for 5 more and the record?

(Mozz, get thee hence!)

Non mark paid to Saints was ridiculous

some strange umpiring

We've dodged a few bullets.

Hore vision and kick sublime up close.

it looked bad

she had a look of resignation leaving the field

would be dreadful luck for her

I’m optimistic it may be just a medial ligament 🤞🏼

Hore has been unbelievable this quarter. How many goal assists?!

In contrast to the men, our forward connection has been outstanding. Midfield dominating as well.

outstanding half of football. we're put the saints to the sword

ball movement very good. and we have dominant forwards in tayla and zanker.

hanks all class

really hope Purcell injury not serious. would be a real downer if it is.

Back line strong, tight, intent, fast.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
