NON-MFC: Round 12

This is actually a good game.

How ironic though it's sunny here in Melbourne & it's pelting down on the sunny Gold Coast

Handy point 👋

What an unbelievable finish!

The Brayshaw hit

The tackle

GC were on

And the umpires didn’t ruin those last few minutes. They let play continue which was great.

If you want a reason why LJ is such a highly rate player, watch his game today vs Gold Coast. In the air, on the ground, 2nd efforts, effective ruck work, aerobic capacity. Epic game.

one of the best slugfests i've seen

suns looked dead and buried. i thought they would snatch it

not a good result for us though. we are competing with freo for a spot in the 8

He is a gun. I really hope we can get him back.

By end of season I reckon we’ll be competing more with the Suns than Freo. Suns are still flakey and will fall away imo

Win tomorrow and we are 2 games behind them

Callan Ward looks to have done his ACL poor bloke. Could be the end.

hopefully cal ward not seriously hurt

hot start tiges.

Wow. The Toiges. I wonder if they can sustain this for the whole game.

There’s still 48 points up for grabs, far to early to make any predictions on the 8.

We just need to keep grabbing opportunities and hopefully get on a roll

Look at the Tigers right now…

Sicily and Alex Pearce are the two worst captain in the league

It shocks me every day that Brayshaw isn’t captain of Freo. Then again it’s Freo.

thats true

but no matter what stage of the season, its always better for the teams around you to lose

very impressive from the tiges thus far

yze doing a good job there

My brother-in-law is a mad Tiges supporter, and I have been telling him all year the Tiges will rise quickly. Yze's game plan is quick, and within that game plan the players' pressure is strong and some of their young talent is top notch. They won't win too many this year because their young players will get physically monstered and will also struggle to run out 4 quarters. Bu they are good to watch for the most part.

Agreed, but results will astound on a regular basis

In ‘87 we were 6-9 before we got on a serious roll and that was with a Final 5

If we can win strongly tomorrow, we are in the race

Hard at contest, clean with hands, goals not points, let them chase us, our think our style stacks up. Long down the line is death against them. They force you into that so you gotta go at times but you’ve also gotta hold, I think that’s what we’re doing!

Hopefully, our set up around the ball will negate the runners that they hold at the back of the pack.

Our game seems to be getting in better nick so hopefully we can knock them off.
