A few days ago a photo of Clarry was put up on here from Round 1 2021

Can someone show me where it is or repost it

The Search function on this update was not helpful!!!

No it shows him at a centre bounce

Maybe opening bounce.

It would be great if you could search for โ€œuploaded Mediaโ€ if that is possible

No not the one i saw. It was uploaded in the last week, if i could remember which thread i could track it down

I think it's exactly the one you saw. It fits all the criteria of being a few days ago and you responded to the post where the picture is. It's a pity your memory isn't as good as your Mac 10 years ago.

The Richmond game was when I started to believe.

Along with the entire footy world, but most importantly, the players knew something special was brewing after that win.

& Kozz / teams reaction after his set shot late in the 4th to seal the winโ€ฆ what a farken time to be alive๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Remember it wellโ€ฆ. Was just happy to get a win! The Richmond game was when I started to believe.

There was a point in that Richmond game where it got weirdly quiet around the ground, as if all the Melbourne supporters took a collective breath & realised we were pretty serious

Disappointed it's not about that classic picture of him having a massive chunder that I won't post for taste reasons.

I shall begin the โ€œWalk of Shameโ€ at Midday, but being in Thailand, I doubt anyone will noticeโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I do apologizeโ€ฆ

To complete this mental picture Iโ€™ve decided you were right near the Richmond cheer squad โ€˜Cop Thatโ€™ banner ๐Ÿ˜‚

I cant remember Nibbler's vom, best all time AFL vom belongs to Jobe Watson i reckon.

If ANB's vom came after Lever's goal that night it almost sits at the high watermark of modern MFC history. There were moments in 2023, but we've never come to looking as powerful since that first half against Brisbane.

Now I feel like having a vom.

For those who are interested the vom came with exactly 1.00 left in the half but Ben Brown kicked a goal afterwards so he is the official holder of the high watermark.

Not so much in the last few seasons but Oliver is one of the best team player I've ever seen (that's across all the clubs)

His ability to bring his teammates into the game in terms of those receivers having clear space ahead of them was astoundingly good

It's a rare gift and it's like he knows what is going to happen before he even has the ball in his hands

He needs to get back into that sort of form ... A Grade Elite

Your mouth to Godโ€™s ears as they say. I love watching replays of earlier seasonsโ€”especially 2021. Which was actually hilarious because it was the first year I did footy tipping at work and told everyone weโ€™d win the flag and nearly got laughed out of the office. Thankfully, at the end of the season, I was the one laughing. We won and to boot, I also won the footy tipping comp. But, like the MFC, I havenโ€™t quite managed to regain the form of my premiership tipping yearโ€ฆ :)

Welcome to Demonland (and good luck!)

And I haven't heard that saying for yonks!

And it's not like Clarrie is playing badly, he's just playing in a way different way to how he used to play. B only, as compared to A++

As previously stated, his handpassing was previously dynamic. He's had 146 disposals in 5 games so it's not like he has disappeared

Like most of his teammates, he needs to use the ball better

Do that, and we'll start winning again

Let's face, we are just asking the players to share the ball around at speed. No biggie (yet, it is, somehow)

His game in Adelaide that year will forever be etched in my mind. His acceleration out of packs was next level and the phrase 'he had the ball on a string' gets used a lot but he literally looked like he had the ball on a string, every time he burst away from the contest and gathered, the ball would always seem to bounce back up to him and never away.

It was magic, one of the best individual performances I've seen from anyone in a Melbourne jumper. We've had a lot of great individual performances in losses but if there is one that always wish got us over the line and could change it, it's this one.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... itโ€™s time to discuss this weekโ€™s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliverโ€™s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line โ€ฆ Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the clubโ€™s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the clubโ€™s perspective, and the teamโ€™s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarksonโ€™s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed โ€” roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.ย  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
