All about bonding.

Most of the drills had a competive edge to it.

Golf with a footy, closest to the pin.

Group handballing, with one more ball than the number of contestants. The one handling two balls was out, last man standing gets the chocolates.

Snaps for goal off passes, two teams, first one to countdown to zero wins.

Two groups, handles ball then passes to end the set. First to finish wins.

Kind of juvenile, they were all regressed back to teenagers. Plenty of noise and excitement filled the paddock.

And how bloody awesome was it, Kev?!

Seeing them having fun like little kids was heartwarming. I could watch that all day.

They were having a blast but geez they were serious and super competitive. Ricky Lever in particular… he doesn’t like losing and he makes it known. 😂 Jed Adams was also very vocal.

what colour?

One must assume he has a vast array that will either match or enhance the sunglasses for the day.

Sky, light, navy, cobalt or electric?

I actually asked what shade of blue (not as detailed as you’ve asked 😅) and he said he likes every shade of blue but probably likes the blue of our red and blue the most. 🥹🥹🥹

I would rather my way of being free, play, laughter, and curiosity.

Drugs (alcohol) can become a crutch that may impose on your happiness, and on others.

Jai’s moonboot is purely precautionary because he has “a very minor foot thing”

His favourite Dees player growing up? Despite the media citing Max and Vines, he actually has never had a single favourite player, rather he loved the midfielders. Even as a little kid he’s always loved the midfielders.

That's a relief that Jai Culley's moon boot is only precautionary.

Hope he takes it easy and we get to see him kicking huge goals from outside 50 metres on the MCG later in the season.

Looking forward to seeing Harvey "The Bison" Langford debut soon too! ❤️💙

This is great! I love Chunk telling them to “ignore the scoreboard.”

Also, Max’s little dance when he stands up in the rooms. Bless his unco little heart 😅

I love this inside stuff, their reactions who talks and moves when they are focussed and how they show care for one another, Gold.

Rick squeezing his chocolate gel snack thing and then realising he'd squeezed too much and it fell on the floor 😂

Today is about fun. They are so happy and playful. Doing drills and sh!tt stirring at the same time. This drill seems to be about reaction times. There’s double handballs flying around players in a circle.

Now there’s eight players in a circle with four balls being handballed and the idea is you can’t have two balls at once, ie. you have to give off the ball before you receive another.

Thanks for the reports GW.
Any chance they did goal kicking practice while having fun.

I didn’t see any goal-kicking practice, not serious practice anyways. But today was bookended by a thorough training session at Casey yesterday and an intra-club match tomorrow, so they deserved a fun day today imho.

I couldn’t help but notice that as the boys left the room, Sharpie stayed back to pack up the chairs. Seems a small thing but it’s actually a big thing. It shows his character.

We can all relate to this, right? Well I can, anyways.

AFL injury report is hopeless they had it listed as back on Tuesday

Today someone who I think is in the know told me that sometimes Collingwood “play funny buggers” when informing the AFL of injuries, as in exaggerating an injury so as to keep everyone else guessing. 🤷‍♀️

Clarry’s favourite colour is blue.

As long as it is matched with red, and not white and certainly not alone !

I noticed that too!  A few boys helped (saw Kozzie in the background) but Sharpie definitely did the most, making that big stack.

They can indeed,  some friends never saw the light,  and hit the whole lot pretty hard. Don’t be let it become a crutch, same applies to demonland.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
