Hoping he got a shiny new Achilles to try out in 2025, or is that coming from Santa?

Edited by Demon Disciple

Heard him interviewed on the radio this morning. He comes across as an articulate and intelligent bloke.

That was a fantastic interview. So interesting to hear about his injury especially ..he has certainty done the hard yards there. One of the better interviews to listen to …

Just had a look at his profile and forgot that he missed the last 6 home and away games of 2023 and the Collingwood final through form.

So he really hasn't had any continuity for a while now.

Fit Spargs is a really important cog in the machine, need him back at full flight in 2025 if we're going to go far.

Was an important part of the team although appeared reluctant to score a goal.  Often just handballs off even when 30 metres out.  Has the show his very best after a full year out.

Thoroughly concur with that DS9. Daniel Harford as an interview host, leaves the majority of  ex-hawks who plague the footy media in his dust. Happy Birthday Charlie wishing you a prosperous return to the field next season.

There’s a shot of Charlie in the Day 3 gallery and he is looking pretty mature with a bit of confidence about him. Good luck Spargs, hope you get back to your best in ‘25 as we are going to need to bat deep to get where we want to go.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
