Will ashcroft a norm smith medallist in his 2nd year.

He was great today.

I know he'll never have got it but Harris Andrews was great today to.

Thought Starcevich was their best defender today.

Shows how hard flags are to win. We were able to grind after going 4 goals down in the late in the third and then went berserk.

Sydney didn’t just choke, there is a mental chasm that they can’t seem to shake.

‘21 was great, but what I would give to actually win one at the G after experiencing all the week long lead up

I have a lions fan in front of me & as these players are getting there medals he's showing no emotion.

I just want to shake him & say come on mate, your teams just won a flag. Show some excitement.  Maybe he's just taking it all in

They are incredibly hard to win. Just one is a massive effort. Anyone who thinks we failed by not getting multiple around 21' have no [censored] idea how many ducks are needed to line up and have absolutely everything go your way in the last 6-8 weeks of the year

Absolutely Oscar McInErnery's energy in the medal presentation.

Pure goofy, loving joy.

Suspect that has been a big part of keeping the team upbeat during some rough early times.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
