Block your ears. Turn away. It is the path to the dark side…

Embarrassing turnout. It’s not even raining.
Really poor. Don’t complain when we get 4.40 Sunday games all year.

I reckon we could have played at 4:35 & Saints v essendon could have been played under the roof tonight.

At least it's not raining

I typed a longish response to this but decided to not post it because it is off topic. Just to say at the very least the AFLPA should work to remove obnoxious clauses in contracts  that allow the AFL to muzzle players.  A player strike would put a rocket up the AFL's rear.

I’d rather not give Coll/Geel/Carl the ability to manufacture outrage at decisions that go against them through disingenuous malice.

Unintended consequences and all that Jazz.

There aren't enough of them to make that character assessment!

Commentators happy for Pickett to be tackled without the ball... okay, that makes real sense...

Petty running around with bricks for shoes. Could hardly get any pace up chasing an open ball. Would've been a goal if Turner was playing.

"in the early stages" - ahhh so there is fluidity in decision making depending on the context...rrriiiiiggghht,

Kozzie being given a lot of attention off the ball before the bounces.

They have been told to agree with every decision regardless.

Some Chin music to get the night going

What a pearler.

At least we are well and truly switched on tonight.

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

It's Game Day, and reinforcements are finally arriving for the Demons—but will it be too little, too late? They're heading down the freeway to face a Cats side returning home to their fortress after two straight losses, desperate to reignite their own season. Can the Demons breathe new life into their campaign, or will it slip even further from their grasp?

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
