Brent Harvey, the Kangaroos, has been charged with striking Simon Godfrey, Melbourne, during the first quarter of the Round Nine match between the Kangaroos and Melbourne, played at the MCG on Sunday May 27, 2007.

In summary, he can accept a reprimand and 60 points towards his future record with an early plea.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of four activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level One offence, drawing 80 demerit points and a reprimand. He has no applicable good or bad record. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 60 points towards his future record.

Judd will certainly appeal and he will most likely get off. He is a very fair player and don't beleive the act was intentional.

Godrey punches himself every week it seems like. He ends up on the ground and someone running away from him and nothing ever happens.

When I was just watching the sports news on channel ten then mentioned that the one, the only Daniel Bell was being looked at for tripping someone. Can anyone tell me when this happened because nothing wsa ever mentioned about it before tonight. Obvisiously the Kangaroos got a free kick out of it but I can't narrow it down from the 20 million they got yesterday. (Sorry still grumpy at that haha)

I saw the trip, it was on the Member's wing and it looked bad for Belly as he did the double movement with his leg and the Kangaroos player went down.

i saw the godfrey incident not one free kick over it :(

i think the favs are now bartel, cornes and black

and Ablett...? now I have to wash my hands after typing that....
