I know people will laugh at me but my favourite is Daniel Bell. Always like the battlers. Past favourites have been Brent Heaver, Darren Kowall and Bruce Cohan (he was on our supp list way back)

If Carlton are willing to trade Brad Fisher, why don't we try and get him in the Brock Mclean Deal. Mclean and third round pick for for 11 and Fisher. I think he would be a good fit into our forward line. Just have Wona crumb around his feet and he would be set.

I had a read of this article and was going to start a thread. I am glad someone else did. I can't see what is to like about Caroline Wilson. She seems to get a lot if things wrong (such as a one point loss on the weekend) and she just likes to argue on Footy Classified. She doesn't like it be proven wrong. I am still waiting for Knights to be offered a contract extention at Essendon like she said (Just another example)

I find that very funny one of the "worst" players in the afl yet he didn't make your tank team in another thread. I am a huge fan of Belly. He clearly doesn't have the skill of most but he has definately got the heart and determination to be in the side. It is always fun watching him tackle someone and dump them into the ground

Dean Bailey needs to remember that he can only play 10 games this year. That way we can have Watts, Strauss, Butcher, Scully and Blease nominated for the NAB rising star award next year

I think the umpires did have an impact on todays game. I count 5 free kicks to North inside their forward 50 in the first quarter alone. I thought it was a pathetic display by the umpires today. Seemed to be only 1 team on the ground. I know Melbourne had over 20 free kicks but about 7 of those were in the back pocket because North kicked it out of bounds on the full.

I have been told its a walk up game so here is to hoping. Dont want to get to the G just to find out it is sold out.

I saw this incident and I was pretty disappointed in Melbourne that no one came in to help Belly condsidering he was giving away about 5 feet. I know there is a fine line between standing up for yourself and giving away free kicks Belly seemed out of his league there. When it is in the backline Belly is always the first in the help someone out as you can see during the game when Fergy got a hip and shoulder after the ball was out of bounds, Bell was there in three seconds flat to hold the flag up high.

I voted for Belly in this but only because the heart told me to. If I went with the head it would be Brocky but there is so much potential for all of them on that list. Brock grabbing 40 possessions in a game. Newton kicking 10 goals. Bate grabbing 15 marks and 3 goals at CHF Frawley becating opponents week in week out. The possibilities are endless

I was pretty happy with Buckley's performance on the weekend. Not the best but definately not the worse. What I really liked was when he got the ball in the open he would run 15 meters then kick the ball another 50 into the forward line. That is exactly what Melbourne need. I am just thinking of the best play in the world. Wheatley kicks it out from full back to Buckley in the open on half back flank and plays on taking a bounce then kicking it long into our forward line where he hits Sylvia on the chest for an easy goal. But that is just wishful thinking

I just got back from Canada a few months ago and I was very deprived from sports over there. I found the best thing to do was just go to the afl website and listen to it live. They didnt show anything on tv however there was a bar that played an afl game on monday nights but clearly that is not live but it managed to give me my fix for the week haha. So good luck in Canada you will have a ball.

Can anyone tell me if the 30 sec shot at goal rule is still in effect? Whenver lloyd had a shot at goal he took longer and one shot was 42 seconds. If it was Neitz or one of ours im sure they would of called play on

I agree with most of your lineup they seem to be all around the correct order. The only I would comment about would be Brad Green for potential. I think he would be in our top 10. His left foot can hit any target if he puts his mind to it. And in the past couple of weeks you have seen some of the great marks he has taken in our backline which might of saved the game for us. But for personal opinion I will have Daniel Bell for number 1 for each followed closely by brocky cause those 2 players are just awesome. Dont have a go at me though I will wake up soon

I wont be there on Friday night. Sister tried to get tickets today but unable to get guest passes for afl members and not willing to sit on the third level. Want to watch football not ants play. will be watching it on tv though with the family

Belly was great today. I have always been a huge fan of his and great to see everyone else starting to beleive in him aswell. Its clear channel seven dont know him though as on the channel 7 news "maloney stopped a certain goal to welsh" one day he will get the reconition he deserves

Judd will certainly appeal and he will most likely get off. He is a very fair player and don't beleive the act was intentional. Godrey punches himself every week it seems like. He ends up on the ground and someone running away from him and nothing ever happens. When I was just watching the sports news on channel ten then mentioned that the one, the only Daniel Bell was being looked at for tripping someone. Can anyone tell me when this happened because nothing wsa ever mentioned about it before tonight. Obvisiously the Kangaroos got a free kick out of it but I can't narrow it down from the 20 million they got yesterday. (Sorry still grumpy at that haha)

It is all good in theory but because we only lost by a point Neale will think it is a good enough effort and not make the important changes such as MILLER into sandy. So I am thinking Yze will come back in and Frawley will be out.
