I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it worked.

Does anybody know how we at going to get access to Hawthorn tickets because it is a replacement game?

It isnt showing in the app.  . Do we have to go to a membership tent or something to get a ticket?

Also uninstalled and reinstalled, had to log into Ticketmaster again but once I did that the tickets were there.

I did have a hawthorn ticket but I just went back to look and it said “error, retry” and when I refreshed it was gone. I’d say it’ll come back during the week

Yeah this worked for me too.

Could not get anything to work but the club sent a text this morning suggesting uninstall and reinstall, and it worked immediately.

Yeah did same today and got tickets fine once uninstall/reinstalled.

I had issues last season with my Demons 3 game membership, uninstalling/re-installing repeatedly never worked properly and I had to email MFC before each match I wanted to go to and they would email a separate ticket for me.

My Blues electronic membership never had this issue (even if it was clunky at times). Odd as they appear to use the same software.

Using a membership card for Blues and Rebels (Rugby) games this year and no issues at all, always works 😁

Ummm Blues? Please tell me it's NRL state of origin but I wouldn't have thought they do memberships.🤔

I am Demonland's resident Carlton supporter [ducks for cover, lol]. The Dees are my 'second team' that I do actively watch on tv and go to some live matches.

Driving me nuts.

What a stupid system linking the Ticketmaster and membership systems.

I have deleted my app multiple times. Still cant access my mobile membership tickets. Or any of my profile and accounts deets etc.

Cant log in at all - not because my password etc is wrong, it just keeps saying try again later.

if they are gong to align the Ticketmaster and membership systems, you'd think i could find my tickets on Ticketmaster. Nup

I auto renewed my membership last October. But i never received my mail with my card as requested when i first took out the membership.

Couldn't get onto the club. No response to my online enquiry. Not receiving any emails from club (they have the correct club).

'A new way to sign in' the graphic proudly boasts.

Right, because it's all about making things easier for the customer!

Grrr.

Yes, same for me. The screen was flickering and I ended up deleting and reinstalling the app and resetting the thicket b@$[censored]$ password.

It's really frustrating that it doesn't properly link to Ticketmaster.  I've also never figured out a way to simultaneously buy extra tickets for friends or family in the same bay or one close by?

Has anyone else got kids with junior membership through auskick etc where they get a club membership and access to some games?  I've no idea how to add their profiles to mine or redeem their tickets and have to sneak them under the turnstiles.  We're at the mercy of the gate attendants instead of being legitimate entrants.  I'd appreciate any guidance please

Frustrating Bin. So how the hell do you get in tomorrow? Hopefully they sort you out at customer service desk but could be some long queues I suspect

I've got 2 kids linked to mine but they are GA and mine is reserved seat so can't sit with me. I usually just sit in GA with them on the handful of matches they come in with me.

^^ I tried that same procees several time last year, never worked for me. Frustrating. This season I got a Kayo membership via MFC and if I want to catch the odd live match when I can then I just buy a GA ticket. Planning on going tomorrow and taking my little son. He watched the Dees live once before, when Bluey payed a visit for the Adelaide Crows match last season, he still talks about that match 😁

Have done this 10 times so far. No joy. It accepts my password etc. but then goes to screen saying unexpected error try again later.

I'm going to go 2 hours early and try and sort it as it would do my head in being stuck in a line waiting whilst he game is on

Ah right so did you purchase their memberships through the club?

The kids memberships for ours came through auskick and the local team so I haven't seen a way to link them to my Demons membership

A cameo visit to DL for rescue before tomorrow.  So thanks DLers!  However, some things worked but then they stopped working.

So had to try other methods,

Binman, if this is the error message you received click on OK and it should take you to the tickets screen and your ticket will be there.  Or click ok and if it takes you to the menu page click on 'mobile membership' and the ticket should be there.

image.png.eaf435105b91cbb2477d3bb9ae5f67c6.png

Failing all that and for the benefit of other DLers, several other things I tried were:

  • to login thru the mfc website which worked sometimes and I could then access the tickets in the app, sometimes I couldn't.
  • turned the phone off/on and I think that worked ... a bit hard to tell if it worked as I was trying other methods at the same time.

Hopefully, one of the above will work for you and others.

Binman, rather than go 2 hours early just go to the mfc office (between gate 3 and 4) and they will give you a pass for the day and you can sort the app out at your leisure.

Go dees!

Edit:  As extra safeguard save the ticket to 'wallet' or take a screenshot which saves the ticket to the 'gallery' ... just in case the app fails when at the G

Thank Luci. That's not the message i get. Mine says something something unexpected error. Try again later.

By office, do you mean the window they open on game da near gate 3?

If so, that was my plan. But my suspicion is there will be many people needing assistance. But perhaps 2 hours early is bit much!

An issue is i have a reserved seat, which i'm hoping to be able to access. A GA pass will get me in, but not provide evidence of my seat.

Just get a plastic ticket..

1. Don’t have to deal with Ticketek. Either this round or all of the remaining games. They WILL stuff up again.

2. Readers, apps, and phones are all dependent upon the electronics working. We all know they WILL fail at some point.

3. Stop giving information to the AFL, Ticketek, or some bot ex China about where you are and whether you are going.

4. Much easier to burn the plastic card than your phone…and cheaper, when you get fed up with team performance.

  • GAMEDAY: Brisbane

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are back on the road with a massive challenge ahead — facing the reigning premiers, the Brisbane Lions, at their Gabba fortress. The Lions are licking their wounds after a shock draw in Tasmania last week, while Melbourne’s season hangs in the balance. Can the Dees defy the odds and pull off a miracle to keep their razor thin finals hopes alive?

  • NON-MFC: Round 10

The Sir Doug Nicholls Round kicks off in Darwin with a Top 4 clash between the Suns and the Hawks. On Friday night the Swans will be seeking to rebound from a challenging start to the season, while the Blues have the Top 8 in their sights after their sluggish start. Saturdays matches kick off with a blockbuster between the Collingwood and Kuwarna with the Magpies looking to maintain their strong form and the Crows aiming to make a statement on the road. The Power face a difficult task to revive their season against a resilient Cats side looking to make amends for their narrow loss last week. The Giants aim to reinforce their top-eight status, while the Dockers will be looking to break the travel hoodoo. The sole Saturday game is a critical matchup for both teams, as the Bulldogs strive to cemet their spot in the top six and the Bombers desperately want break into the 8. Sundays start with a bottom 3 clash between the Tigers and Kangaroos with both teams wanting to avoid the being in wooden spoon contention. The Round concludes with the Eagles still searching for their first win of the season, while the Saints look to keep their finals hopes alive with a crucial away victory. Who are you tipping and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

And just like that, we’re Narrm again. Even though the annual AFL Sir Doug Nicholls Round which commemorates the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture to our game has been a welcome addition to our calendar for ten years, more lately it has been a portent of tough times ahead for we beleaguered Narrm supporters. Ever since the club broke through for its historic 2021 premiership, this has become a troubling time of the year for the club. For example, it all began when Melbourne rebranded itself as Narrm across the two rounds of the Sir Doug Nicholls Round to become the first club to adopt an Indigenous club name especially for the occasion. It won its first outing under the brand against lowly North Melbourne to go to 10 wins and no losses but not without a struggle or a major injury to  star winger Ed Langdon who broke his ribs and missed several weeks. In the following week, still as Narrm, the team’s 17 game winning streak came to an end at the hands of the Dockers. That came along with more injuries, a plague that remained with them for the remainder of the season until, beset by injuries, the Dees were eliminated from the finals in straight sets. It was even worse last year, when Narrm inexplicably lowered its colours in Perth to the Waalit Marawar Eagles. Oh, the shame of it all! At least this year, if there is a corner to turn around, it has to be in the direction of something better. To that end, I produced a special pre-game chant in the local Narrm language - “nam mi:wi winnamun katjil prolin ambi ngamar thamelin amb” which roughly translated is “every heart beats true for the red and the blue.” >y belief is that if all of the Narrm faithful recite it long enough, then it might prove to be the only way to beat the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Sunday. The Lions are coming off a disappointing draw at Marvel Stadium against a North Melbourne team that lacks the ability and know how to win games (except when playing Melbourne). Brisbane are, however, a different kettle of fish at home and have very few positional weaknesses. They are a midfield powerhouse, strong in defence and have plenty of forward options, particularly their small and medium sized players, to kick a winning score this week after the sting of last week’s below par performance.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

There was a time during the current Melbourne cycle that goes back to before the premiership when the club was the toughest to beat in the fourth quarter. The Demons were not only hard to beat at any time but it was virtually impossible to get the better them when scores were close at three quarter time. It was only three or four years ago but they were fit, strong and resilient in body and mind. Sadly, those days are over. This has been the case since the club fell off its pedestal about 12 months ago after it beat Geelong and then lost to Carlton. In both instances, Melbourne put together strong, stirring final quarters, one that resulted in victory, the other, in defeat. Since then, the drop off has been dramatic to the point where it can neither pull off victory in close matches, nor can it even go down in defeat  gallantly.

  • CASEY: Footscray

At twenty-four minutes into the third term of the game between the Casey Demons and Footscray VFL at Whitten Oval, the visitors were coasting. They were winning all over the ground, had the ascendancy in the ruck battles and held a 26 point lead on a day perfect for football. What could go wrong? Everything. The Bulldogs moved into overdrive in the last five minutes of the term and booted three straight goals to reduce the margin to a highly retrievable eight points at the last break. Bouyed by that effort, their confidence was on a high level during the interval and they ran all over the despondent Demons and kicked another five goals to lead by a comfortable margin of four goals deep into the final term before Paddy Cross kicked a couple of too late goals for a despondent Casey. A testament to their lack of pressure in the latter stages of the game was the fact that Footscray’s last ten scoring shots were nine goals and one rushed behind. Things might have been different for the Demons who went into the game after last week’s bye with 12 AFL listed players. Blake Howes was held over for the AFL game but two others, Jack Billings and Taj Woewodin (not officially listed as injured) were also missing and they could have been handy at the end. Another mystery of the current VFL system.

The Demons head back out on the road in Round 10 when they travel to Queensland to take on the reigning Premiers and the top of the table Lions who look very formidable. Can the Dees cause a massive upset? Who comes in and who goes out?
