A top quality performer in every game and a very worthy winner of the 'Bluey'.

Trac is trac. For me best player in the afl. Most complete, technically and strength wise, imagine if he scored all his shots as well.

Yea as bad as his set shots are you kinda of just accept it cos he's so damn good.

Watching him burst out of the centre with the pill is just pure pleasure.

Hopefully a Brownlow year for him with another Norm and cup.

I'm not greedy.

He must nail more goals to compliment all the hard work he does

Goal accuracy is his achilies heal up till now

I must admit that I love Christian Petracca our outright best player in 2023, let’s hope that he has another huge year in 2024 and  he gets back to finishing off the majority Of his opportunities.!!

Still have to pinch myself when it comes to what he's accomplished. Doesn't feel that long ago when we were wondering if he'd get there.

Bring on another big season and a Charlie to rubber stamp it.

Theres been a bit of discussion about Tracs kicking and mentioning his high ball drop. These fantastic shots of 666 show that to still be the case while other players have both low and high.

It des seem that the high ball drop is more likely when a quick kick is actioned and the player is less balanced. Could the nature of Trac as a burst player be the seed for his high ball drop and the key fo his inaccuracy?

Thank you st Kilda

If they had have picked Petracca, who might we have picked?  Remembering that Hogan was at the club so we might not have picked McCartin.  There again, we may well have drafted him to accompany Hogan

But Watts & Dawes were at the club as was T-Mac but Tom hasn't ventured forward as yet, that happened in 2017

De Goey went at pick #5 in that draft so it could gave been him (along with Brayshaw)

Jarrod Pickett went at pick 4 to the Giants and ended up being a bust (but we only know that in hindsight of course)

Nevertheless, it was a real sliding doors moment

Closest player i have seen to RDB in 70 years of supporting the dees

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
