He only emerges for your teasers D. I don’t think he can be bothered with the rest.

There have been a handful of suggestions, but I can confirm that the solution has nothing to do with golf or music nor is it football related.  More helpful (?) information to follow if required.

Another clue, you say?  OK then!  The misspellings in the OP are not relevant.  In fact, there are no clues at all secreted among the intro or in any of my responses to date.  Is that a clue or a non-clue?  I haven't a clue.

To redress the obfuscation in my previous post, it's time for a proper clue.

There's no sub in today's team but, at the risk of going in far too top-heavy, that spot in this team would be amply filled by the huge frame of former Fitzroy giant ruckman Dean Farnham.

...by which I presume you mean the full name features in both teams? I can see no other way to interpret your 'clue'...

Congrats to @tilly18 who has solved the mystery and wins a second round draft pick.  There are always some bargains to be found there, particularly if your name is Jason Taylor.
