Bon appetit 23 Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 He’s out of contract. Do you think he’d be a good fit? 1 1 Quote
adonski 13,271 Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Had a pretty good year but definitely not the style of player we need more of 3 Quote
dee-tox 4,835 Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 If you bring him in it is a replacement for the likes of Harmes, Dunstan, Sparrow, Jordon etc. Not sure that's a priority plus I can't see the Hawks not re-signing him. 1 Quote

Same can be said for every player drafted to Melbourne from that period. None of them had the foundation or environment to fulfil any sort of potential. We were an absolute mess as a club. 2 Quote

Expand 100% agree. The suns can get hardwick as a coach, but it will make little difference if they don't sort their fitness, development, welfare and other critical systems and programs. Quote
Hawny for Gawny 465 Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=11&playerStatus2=A&tid2=12&type=A&pid1=6513&pid2=6628&fid1=S&fid2=S Nope, not a perfect comparison due to play time but Sparrow is a better user of the ball than Worpel and if he played the same time in the midfield as he does I reckon Sparrow would have the same disposal numbers.
