The Footy with Broden Kelly

Featured Replies

Heads up to footy fans, the tall bloke from Aunty Donna has a podcast this year called The Footy and it is quite good. More lighthearted and no depth but very funny.

Broden is a Dees fan.

And he left early last week.

Been listening from the start, it’s good.

Bounce that Pill!!

think it's time to confess. Me too.

He's telling my story, an early Saturday morning and the two-hour drive home got me, so I had to ride the last quarter over the radio wondering what I had done.

I don't feel so bad now. I left the Melbourne-Carlton game with 2 minutes to go last year, missed the 2nd last goal and saw the winning goal on delay on my phone. But I was still rapt with the win and didn't actually mind 😀

Left the game early. Hmmm. Not good.  That’s a definite negative mark against his name. I’ve never left early , even in the 1979 horror show v Fitzroy at Waverley.

My young son wanted to leave the GF at half time! I said to him, ‘mate, if we’re getting flogged we’ll leave early, but we’re not leaving now’. Best call I ever made 👍🏆

Yep, you can't quit on them, the worse thing to do.

Must be. Interesting to see how it plays out. Personally I'd prefer the picks we have done well in the mid to late second round with bowey, rivers, petty, sparrow recently

I don't think we'll have the list spots for for all those picks. Looks like we'll take 3 picks to the draft and they might all be under 25

Broden just mentioned Demonland in the latest episode, he's one of us*.

*Sad nuffies

Any chance of a link?

Idk, Broden goes full nuffy whenever he talks Dees on the pod.  He can pretend he's above it, but deep at heart he is clearly a Demonland nuff like the rest of us 😂
