If no prior, you must make a legitimate attempt to dispose of it.

I thought that due to the great tackle, he wasn't able to make an attempt, therefore it should have been holding the ball.

Also another suns player ran in and took it off him. That's incorrect disposal, you can't hand it to a team mate
