I think it's getting a bit stale. Any suggestions?

I have Rivers out of the best 22 but I think  we can have 30 players slot right into the 22.

B: Lever, May, Salem

HB: Brayshaw, Petty, Bowey

C: Langdon, Petracca, Jordon

HF: Neal-Bullen, B.Brown, Pickett

F: Fritsch, Weideman, Spargo

FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney

IC: Hunt, Harmes, Sparrow, Jackson

SUB: Bedford

Casey

B: J.Smith, Turner, Hibberd

HB: Rivers, Tomlinson, Baker

C: Howes, Dunstan, Woewodin

HF: Melksham, van Rooyen, Chandler

F: Bedford, McDonald, M.Brown

FOLL: Daw, White, Munro

IC: Laurie, Rosman, McVee, Moniz-Wakefield, D.Smith

Surprised Trent Rivers isn't in your best 22. I think he is very important to our structure and has the ability to play on both smalls and mediums.

In my opinion he is in the side and one of Jordon or Sparrow is the medi-sub.

I have Rivers and Sparrow firmly in my best 22 they are both tough and skilled players who will only get better. JJ needs to cement his spot this year with some big games but looking at WERRIDEE’s list we need to fill that 3rd Ruckman role ASAP.!!

For me it's out of Rivers and Hunt I chose Hunt because I think he plays on his man better and has some dash.

Tend to agree but we really are tossing a coin.

At the moment Sam Tmac or Daw are quite adequate. No need to panic as a good all round footballer is better in depth than a youngster learning that craft.
You only need to remember the Kings, and more recently the basketballers son.

It's not hard to pick up decent ruckman as third banana in any of the drafts these days and by nature they switch to Clubs where that will get match play.

Thats why a Daw or similar or Weid or Tmac are sufficient mostly.

Mate. I thought you were the main man when it comes to best 22s around here? Why the [censored] have you named Langdon on the members wing?

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
