Co-signed.

The options are: Caris, Magee, Brown, Petrevski, Tarrant and potential debutants Chaplin, Campbell and Gillard.

Purcell is definitely looming large to breath some new life into the midfield in a couple of weeks.

I hope Mick is more inspiring talking to the players than he is in these videos.

Good news on Pearce, although she seemed to play out the game.

It would be nice to get some sort of update on Purcell.

Hanks n gay r big outs 👎

good to see Caris get another run though

Hanks is our best player across the first 4 rounds. Huge out

Suns have improved. We tend to have mid season form losses. This is a definite danger game

Hanks and Gay are huge losses. Heath and Mithen should take their spots in the middle.

Hanks is a huge out been our best player. Can't be replaced suddenly our midfield looks ordinary.

Yes, Hanks has had a terrific start to the season and Gay is one of our best tacklers.  These 2 are our best kicks in the team and will be difficult to replace.

With Caris back to support L Pearce it means Zanker has no ruck duties and concentrates on being that big bodied midfielder and helps out Paxy.

S Scott has had a real quiet start to the season so hoping this week she can provide some influence.

Choko Williams was at training during the week so hopefully his positive influence rubs off on the girls kicking.

Gold Coast are young and fast and won their past 2 games.   It may be close today but at our fortress Casey Fields we have the advantage.  Go Dees!

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

Melbourne returned to its city citadel, IKON Park, boasting a 10–2 home record and celebrating its 100th AFLW matchwith 3,711 fans creating a finals atmosphere. But in a repeat of Round 11, Brisbane proved too strong, too fit, and too relentless.  They brought their kicking boots: 9 goals, 2 points.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Brisbane

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
