Given that the Magpies were the only team in 2021 we didn't beat, let's just hope that they don't sack their coach a week before we play them in 2022.

Would love to see us 'take over' Optus next time (and forever) we have to play West Coast with massive banners along the fences claiming ownership to different parts of the ground, e.g.

- Petracca's Pocket

- Ed Langdon Wing

- the Trent Rivers end (the river end of the ground)

- Clayton Oliver Centre Square

- Max Gawn premiership Terrace (there is a seating area at optus called the premiership Terrace)

Having grown up in the west it has been hard going as a Dee's fan, looking forward to rubbing this premiership in my West coast mates faces forever!

Love it! Yea I spent my uni years there, very difficult place to be a Dees fan. Could never imagine the OBH being somewhere I wanted to be, but [censored] me the Dees were celebrating a flag there. Cant believe it

I think we will ask for, and get a round 1 home game on Friday or Saturday night against another Victorian club, perhaps even the Dogs.
Unfurl the flag and sell a heap of merchandise and memberships pre game.

But if I could have one wish on the back of winning a flag, it’s to NEVER EVER be forced to play Geelong down at their country dump.
A home game against Essendon or West Coast would also be nice. If we get big membership numbers in the pre season I hope we put our foot down on these things. Enough is enough.

I think it would be bad form to unfurl the flag against the grand final loser.

Let's just lock and load against a Hawthorn or a St Kilda even, and get the season off to a flyer (hopefully).

So personally I am loving that:

* We will get primetime slots for our games. Our games rated well.

* That we won the lot with a 'hard draw', now we ARE the hard draw.

* We travel as well as anyone, Perth is now sacred ground for us.

But most of all, every other side will be

a, scared of us everywhere, home or away.

b, we are scared of nowhere.

c, will feel like they are never enough in front.

And lastly, like i predicted after GWS r3, we now have BOOMSHAKALA, am tipping we kick the highest winning score next year as well as the best percentage. 20/20 Cricket scores coming up.

I hope we gets twice again😁

Felt that way but not anymore.

I think the cats would be lucky to make finals without the number of wins they rack up from kardinia.

And yea it would be good to play weagles in vic just once...i love optus stadium now.

For St Kilda, the horror, the horror…

It’s less about losing there and more about how impossible it is to attend as an away member.
I don’t care playing them twice. But make it at Marvel, like all the “big” Victorian clubs get.

Yea fair point. We are premiers and deserve respect.

Pert’s requested Dees V Dogs round 1 at the G.

Presume that would be the opening Friday night of the year if the request gets over the line.

Hope we can avoid Perth next year, or at worst play there once. Sick of playing West Coast at Optus and Subiaco year in year out while the last time we played WC at the G was in 2014.

Need an early home game against Essendon at the MCG.

It would be a big money earner to make up for our two blockbusters which I think are both away games

What century did we last have a home game at our ground v Essundone?

I guess my wish list would include non negotiable:

- round 1 Friday night home (at G) vs Footscray

- IF we must play in Darwin it must be immediately preceding our (and our opponents) bye.

Cats - how many remember their players pretending to snooze rather than sing their club song after smashing us one day?

In particular, James Kelly. I won’t forget that in a hurry. 😡

You can betcha that both us the dogs will have to play down at Geelong. It disgusts me.

That won't happen anymore, the ratings and crowd number factor will prevent this from happening in the near future.

If we don't get at least 3 Friday night games next year I will be peeved.

I doubt we will get both Anzac Eve and QB next year but as long as we are in prime time I will be pleased. Naturally anticipating a few COVID curvballs as well.

I really hope not.

We'll all be 90% fully vaxed next year and many will probably have had a booster.

I'll be really disappointed if we have to move our games interstate again in either the home and away season or finals.
