Geelong out in straight sets. Mentally and physically cooked.

Last week would have left them a little shell shocked.

Should be a cracker.

Port to win via goal after Siren.

For those who are undecided who to barrack against tonight, consider the following ....

  • Hawkins
  • Selwood
  • Rohan
  • Scott

Surely it's not a difficult decision !!!

Barracking is for the home and away season. I just want a quality game. The finals deserve it. Melbourne games excluded of course, they can be as poor as they want as a spectacle as long as we win.

He picked up a takeaway lunch he would've been there for 5 minutes - utterly ridiculous he can't play with a negative test.

How long do you think is enough for it to be an issue?

Geri-long running out to booing: it’s a joy to behold.

Thinking about this game before I came to the conclusion that an experienced Geeelong would prove to be decisive over Port. But my hatred of Geelong runs up there with the filth. I can't stand them. Then again Port are an interstate filth so I don't know where I stand on this. Toss a coin in the air.

Sometimes your dislike of both clubs is so high....you kinda of have to let the game unfold before choosing a team to support.

[censored] hate Geelong but they will win tonight.

But which result benefits our club the most?

I do worry where ports goals are coming from.

Gee bt looks good after being airlifted by air ambulance a few hours ago.

Dont reckon i could get a taxi as quick as that chopper.

I think Geelong winning in an extremely hard game, a few old blokes running too hard.   Too old

I just hope ‘Tomahawk’ gets the 300th game he deserves! 😏

The players are going to love a crowd after most of them going so many weeks without one. Give me a crowd any day over an empty MCG in the finals.

Port no good

Just barely got over a Melbourne-2004 death spiral Dogs last week. Dees and Cats are miles ahead I reckon.

If we can get over the Lions tomorrow night, I'd be shocked if we don't get a Dees Cats granny.

I don’t like that. I hope Port wins because they’re not great. Can’t see us beating the Cats 3 times in one season.

Sometimes i think Geelong is just dumb.

How amazing are the Cats making the top 4 for so many years. Blah blah blah

the point is to win the fkking thing! I’d prefer the dogs record over the past 10 years

Clear throw by Selwood. Should override a high free, as even trying to throw is cheating.

It would be the sweetest of sweet wins though surely to get over that mob on the last day.

Beating Port, hey it's a premiership. But beating the cats. My god. I don't think I'd ever come down.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
