Yes but we've also been beaten by 2 bottom clubs. Does that mean they are better then us?

Doggies defence can be shaky, and our forwards structure set up is still questionable. 

When doggies played us they had Treloar, Dunkley, Stefan Martin and Toby McLean. We only had Viney. All 4 of those players are pivotal to their line up.

Doesn’t matter by how much though my ❤️?❤️? mightn’t stand too many close wins. 

Until we can find a dominant key forward we are not going to score big wins. We rely too much on team contributors. BBB and Weideman aren’t playing. They were supposed to be the key forwards but haven’t showed up.

Those missing players may have made a difference but they couldn't  cope with our pressure in the last half. Their defence is certainly their weak link compared to ours which this year is our strongest suit.

We haven't put teams away like the doggies have but we beat them without too much fuss when we played them.

Our system and structure beat their champagne football. We nullified Libba at source, denied them space through the corridor and that was the game. Beveridge has his work cut out devising a plan against us.

We’ve beaten all the top teams. The dogs have lost to Geelong, Richmond and us. I reckon they are more worried about us than we are of them. We beat them comprehensively once and I back us to beat them again at the G

We're 10% ahead of everyone on percentage except Brisbane. That gets us, on your doomsday scenario, to 3rd.

As to the draw, yes we have more games against good sides than anyone else, but:

1. We're 5-0 against the top 8 and 9-0 against the top 12
2. It may be a good thing to be repeatedly tested in the final eight weeks prior to finals. Or would you rather play rubbish sides who we won't see again in September?

We were missing Tomlinson, whilst McLean is not "pivotal" to their line up, he's arguably not even in their best 22 when Treloar and Dunkley are fit.

The Dogs are good, obviously, but I'm sick of people always looking for reasons to doubt us.

They brought in Martin specially so they could release English more up forward the same way we are doing with Jackson. Though it hasn't quite worked due to injury, no doubt Martin and Wood will be crucial come September.

I just think Sydney will start to fall away. I honestly don't know why, but more so on gut feel. I think they'll still make the 8, but cant see them doing much damage.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Josh Bruce's parents may be related?
