Never heard of them and never noticed their logo at any of our games. Their marketing team needs to lift.

You can't have watched too many games last year that closely. They had their logo on the ball.

Haymes Paints new deal with Melbourne

Haymes is the only paint left that is Australian made and Australian owned.

Dulux in the last few years bought heavily into Paint Spot stores and had them remove Haymes paint from their shelves, to put the squeeze on them.

No affiliation myself, but knowing this information makes me much more likely to seek out Haymes for my next project.

If you put their logo in front of me yesterday (before i read this thread) i would not have known who they were. I don;t have much use for paint which may explain my obliviousness.

I went to school with one of the Haymes boys, and I can vouch that he was as good a bloke as his family's paint is good for your house!

Warning as good as Haymes is, this product is not for human consumption.  It is also recommended to keep away from small children.

Unless you want to paint them...

Fantastic option for upcycling furniture vs other options such as Chalk & Mineral.  Mind you a good quality mineral is.pretty hard to top but....

Leave the Haymes for at least 24 hours to cure, 48 even better,  a light sand in between coats and bob's your uncle

Maybe the club has been listening?

Good little promo for Haymes by BBB published in the past couple of days:

Doesn't Robbo do this at half time as well?

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
