Jacko reminds me of Fitzy when he first arrived at the club a few years back, with that massive mop of hair!

I'm loving the fact that at the draft night when interviewed, he said he won't be getting getting it cut; must have sent a few on here into a conniptious (new word) state.

How about we cut out the personal potting yeah? At least he makes it to training sessions unlike myself and most others on this site. Honestly the attacks on this bloke from the likes of yourself and old mate (dazzledavey) isn’t warranted and just details the bloody thread.
Anyways, moving on.

If he makes foolish statements, he must expect some return fire.
Many a Demonlander give us Excellent training Summaries that are much appreciated, others are what they are.
A late start to training as opposed to rehabilitation after surgery are two very different scenarios.

He was indeed. It was not a track day but he was in the gym.

That's brilliant! Great to see. I'm staying optimistic that he is going to work out for us.

So, if the others are nonplussed, is Salem plussed, or nonminused even?

Was Bennell meant to be training today?

Harley does certainly appear to be "giving it his all" in a last ditch bid to save his career.

Great to have someone at the club with this mindset, though it could still possibly not amount to anything.  Well done, son.

I get to the corner of Swan and Punt around 8.55 I look across to see if truck is in place or any sign of red and blue life, usually get a coffee from Richmond station and they are setting up as I reach the corner again

They have appeared between 9.00am and 9.30 every session I have been at, so you can guarantee tomorrow will be 10.30????

I'm planning on heading down tomorrow with the camera after school drop off. I'll be livid if it actually starts at the advertised time as I need to leave just after 11.

You're going to be an alternative Australian music festival?

Boots have very little in the way of cushioning or flex. Runners, on the other hand, generally have heaps. When the surface is dry, runners would deliver much less impact

Very interesting observation.

Footwear is crucial to foot health. Exactly correct that cushioning can be important so also can grip and responsiveness .

Surface tension, time on the surface and compounding impact can also affect foot health

i would hope that New Balance are consulted in all training and match circumstances .

it would seem that we lacked a bit of knowledge in the past when you look at our record

What group are hunt, avb and salem training with.

What are people's thoughts on hunt being used as a run with player through the midfield, could he potentially run with the likes of dangerfield, kelly, shuey

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
