One day I hope the site admin makes the decision to ban posters for rubbishing our young players as spuds.  The kid has a couple of games under his belt and is developing pretty well in my eyes.

Just for comparison sake (per game this year so far): Weideman (21 years old) - 1 goal, 1.8 tackles, 0.4 goal assists, 1.5 marks inside 50, 1.5 contested marks, 11.1 disposals at 73% efficiency.

If that doesn’t make them quite possibly the two players with the most pressure on them in the league I don’t know what else they’d have to do (or in their case, not do).

Hogan will be looking to impress though, no doubt. 

Where did they play 20 games this season?  I must have missed some matches.

To win this game we will have to do things we have not done all season.

Deliver the ball well into the forward line.

Kick accurately for goal.

Have both our key forwards kick multiple goals each.

Restrict Freo,s  forwards.

Does that look like a tall order?

Yes.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
