Writing on the wall, after 22 surgeries & interrupted  pre season, ask any fitness guru that unless u have a proper preseason  you are [censored] for the season!

Coach needs to answer as to whats happened to our defence foundations that Roos put in place, even last year we were getting scored against heavily

Why did we get rid of Kent, not that he was the difference but we are lacking goal kickers.

Letting DK go in the context of Hogan leaving and Garletts form last year was just simply foolish.

Mate, I was a member for a Zillion years before I gave up the ghost in the Neeld years! I bought a membership this year based on solid belief! Well didn't that just go straight down the toilet??

I won't go this week and possibly the rest of the year... this club bleeeds us then tantalises then just hemorrhages blood from the soul.

Time to give up the dream and play more golf!

I'm over this fiasco!

The faith and persistence of a picket in the fence!

Serious ly please don't try and make out you area dedicated fan.

What  crocodile tears!!

Msny supporters  here have followed us for decades and attended 300/400 matches continuously  and you have FIVE this year and it's too much for you.

Through the tough years 13 to 16 this century We don't  need fair weather fans please play your self indulging golf game and then choose when to return when we win 3 in a row games.

Cheers and goodbye PF

I hope Sg and the whole team sit down and watch Jimmy Bartels summary of where things are going wrong in Access all Areas.

To be honest, never watch them and only did because I was interested in the highlights of McKay - oh how I wish Weideman was showing as much promise

Anyway I think these guys nailed it

As a collective team we simply allow opposition players too much space and basically hope somehow to win back possession and then get the easy possession on the turnover - teams with half decent skills have worked it out and cut us to ribbons - North play a similar game style and are cr@p too. We need to try manning up a lot closer and stop playing zone defence because it just isn't working

The other points highlighted were that we constantly commit too many numbers around a contest and then when the ball gets free the opposition have players free and away they go

Our forward fifty entries are abysmal - high kicks sitting on top of our taller forwards heads which make it dead easy to spoil - worse is that fact we don't have crumbers and invariably the opposition do and clear the ball far too easily - this is shown up week after week by our disproportionate inside 50 count but terrible conversion rate

Until we start dealing with these issues we are in for some ugly defeats

These are the reasons we are dead easy to play against and it needs to stop now !

Nothing is going to change. Just listen to our captains given reason for our form:

“We want to play hard footy and we want to win. We’re not doing that and as a result we’re not winning, so we’ve got to change that.”

Crack in harder and everything will be ok apparently.

Crack in hard while the opposition just sit back, wait for us to fumble and then clear it out the back with ease.

Agreed. This shows it is a coaching issue. If we get pantsed tonight...... and I believe this is going to be our biggest loss fr the year, let’s aim the criticism where is belongs.

I have a question. Is it possible to restrict Demonland to paid up members? I'm not a fan of freeloaders.

A fantastic idea. Couldn't agree more. It would certainly give me more time to enjoy life.

Only problem, after 5 years of Goodwin coaching there will only be 10 people allowed on this site.

Are we missing Peter Jackson in the CEO role?

Yes...and a Mr P. Roos somewhere else.

We were coming from such a long way back we and importantly, the list/players, needed a 7 year stint (minimum) IMHO to solidify and bed down the new winning culture / methods and work ethic before handing over the reigns.

Might have snagged a cheeky one along the way also.

P Roos will never come back near the G whilst BMac is on the payroll.

I don't blame Roos. I don't even blame BMac...he is who he is. ( But he doesn't benefit us )

Just saying

So ..Fischer's..Rossi's...Kneissl's ???

Clean disposal, negotiates traffic well, sure hands, a true boot and makes his teammates walk taller. I'd say yes.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
