I've just just received an email from the club encouraging people to secure a seat for the ANZAC day eve. Tickets available from Monday morning.

This game is the first replacement game for the season, so general admission is free for members, but they say that general admission is dependent on it not being a sell-out. They must be expecting a bumper crowd.

I've just checked the Ticketec web site and reserved seats for members are from $11 to $20.

Does anyone know which end will be the Dees cheer squad?

I have upgraded the membership to the reserved seating on level 1 this year.. Just wondering if this applies even though it's a replacement game ? Anyone know ?

I just received an email regarding this. I live on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and this will be the only game I can attend in 2019 as I will be in Melbourne to march in the ANZAC day parade in honour of my grandad. Does anybody know where the away reserved seats are allocated?

If you are wondering whether you are entitled to a reserved seat then no. Your membership for a replacement game will allow you general admission. The club is recommending that you upgrade from general admission to a reserved seat so that you not only get a seat but that you get in the ground. They're obviously anticipating a sell out and if both teams are traveling well then it just might be.

If you get in early you can get reserved seats at the bottom of the 4th level of the Olympic stands which aren't as high as the nosebleed sections further up on that level.

TV game for me, with the ridiculous number of members for Richmond and Collingwood home games I don't bother going. Too hard  Enjoy guys.

I got the email too which is unusual as Premium members normally get a few bays designated.... Is this no longer happening??

Hi all,

I just received an email from the club in regard to the Richmond ANZAC Day Eve game. It's an away game but also a reciprocal game for MFC members. The club are advising members to upgrade to a reserve seat in the Ticketek presale starting at 10am tomorrow.

Does anyone know how much this costs. I'm assuming you don't have to pay the full purchase price of the ticket, which is between $70 and $45 depending on the area. At the moment the website is not showing the cost for members only the full price.

As it is a Tigers home game it may well be the full price, TV price is still the same.

ok. I had assumed I got some compensation for already having access to general admission.

If not it is a pretty poor choice having this game as a make up home game when there are ? over whether you could even get in.

Bit interesting when the tickets don't go on sale till tomorrow

You get the cost of a GA ticket deducted from the cost of whatever seat you purchase, if you use your membershio

Booking tomorrow. Considering the trains are likely to be out of action, getting in will be a nightmare. Having a secured seat is a smart choice. Last year we went in at 5:30pm and struggled to get good seats.

Basically what you are purchasing is a reserved seat in an area of the ground which will be decided by the price of the area You want to sit(or are permitted by choice).

I imagine you would pay about $20 or maybe $25 fir the dearer choice for the reserved seat.

Follow the Clubs advice re seat reservations and good luck as it is a fantastic occasion to witness and despite today's result think it will be a game we can still win.

Go Dees

Can any other Premium members advise if we have designated bays as in previous years ?

Spoke to a lady from the club a short time ago and the club doesn’t know which area has been allocated to us by Richmond.

Basically pot luck, but we’ll know the bays as soon as we log on and start purchasing with  Ticketek. With them having so many members I hope they were kind enough to allocate some decent viewing areas.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
