GAMEDAY - Round 16

I’m convinced when our coaching staff say “we need to get better at kicking it inside 50” they really mean we’re going to focus on our contested possesion and keep boming it long inside 50

Brayshaw having a pot from outside 50 isn't going to help things. Can't imagine that was a Goodwin instruction.

And another wild shot from Hibberd. Moronic.

Under the roof at Etihad.  Wow.

Nice goal Melksham.  We're smashing them; get the radar right and we can kick away.

the longer the game goes the slower it will get.... we should be 6 goals up which would allow us to control the pace of the game.

Instead we are chasing our tail

Love our NT jumper.

no wind in Darwin..good conditions ...= no excuse but you will keep finding them

Should be 4 goals up. A worry!

Statistically this is a complete and utter annihilation. That we can't capitalise is a major incitement on our finals capabilities.

Ok now even Tom McDonald is missing. It's panic stations now people.

Hard shots for goal - easy. Set shots -  hard.

Not making excuses, just pointing out it's a bad example.  If they were playing at another oval in Darwin then you would have a point.

Nothing can incite our finals capabilities at this point.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
