That’s all nice, but how about tinkering with the way we deliver the ball inside 50. We don’t have any injuries there so you would think we would have that sorted by now.

Simple fact is that we lost the game in the forward half last week not the back half

If we friggen could hit some one on the chest inside 50 that would be great. How bout an articles on inside 50 delivery and the art of run, carry and draw in a player instead of bombing in to a crowded fwd line.

Let’s tinker with the high press as well as we keep leaking goals over the back against the better sides

As others say, there was no need to read it

Just total garbage, but I'm not surprised i'm on demonland.

Not surprised you took that even remotely seriously and got all huffy about it.

I really like the bit of 'tinkering' that sees Harry Petty making his debut.  My gut tells me that he will be a very able replacement for Jake, and a long term mainstay of our backline.

How his stocks have fallen in 3 weeks.

Nah. Our defensive woes have more to do with opposition transition out of our forward line. The problem is two-way running and delivery going forward.

Sorry we need a “not serious post” emoji.

The pleasure is all mine knuckles. Don’t take it too seriously DD, we’re all on the same team on match days.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
