On-field success will gloss over the reality. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

As SWYL has suggested you could always enlighten us with your evidence.

I was reminded once a week by my Collingwood supporting colleague that this man would be an absolute disaster for the club as he left the pies in disgrace.

Has to take a massive amount of credit for our 2021 premiership and his key role now is to make us a financially powerful club that has its future in the league well and truly secured for decades, much like Richmond has over the last 5 years.

If ever there are talks of a VIC club re-locating again, I want us to be so far down the pecking order we're not even remotely considered.

You despise Pert and have had a few cracks at Bartlett along the way. You’ve implied some inside knowledge. A few posters have asked what you know and got crickets.

Whats you're beef with Pert? What do you know that we don't?

I reckon you've just got an over-active imagination

Well from all the evidence that I have witnessed since Gary Pert joined the Club is a man with a vision and on a mission to make us a bigger, better and financially sound successful club. To be totally honest I initially doubted that he / we could achieve those goals that the club set for us But here we are.

I remember when Richmond set their goals , targets and vision 6 or seven years ago and I thought yeah, sure you will and they did.

So you need men and women at your club or business that have a vision and know how to go about achieving it and for that I will always have a special place in my heart for Perty and the rest of the team that helped us achieve our most important 13th Premiership.💕❤️💙

Also I will they are as important and special as the players and coaches.

We aren't there yet so let's not get complacent but there is a very determined atmosphere and resolve to continue the pursuit of excellence and the highest of standards and results.

Go Dees and thanks to everyone.

The selling isn’t the problem. The problem is supply.

What  are you saying JJJ that the supply was under forecast for the demand ?

we haven't sold out in all categories but some very popular lines if you look at the comments in Merch/memorabilia.

What other than a general comment with no details can you back up with info and figures.

In addition what profit results has the Club made from merch/ memorabilia that you are aware of?  Or against the  Club budget forecasts?

Yeah, laugh it up - fortunately the playing group are insulated from Pert. He doesn’t live our values & I eagerly await his departure.

You seem alone and isolated Mach 5 with your wildly unsubstantiated views.

Time to fess up with details and the allegations you are alluding to without detail or shut up. Perhaps you are used to going solo and looking sad well that's not the view any real fair dinkum 2021 Dees fan is possessing in Sept and Oct after our astonishing breaking drought 13th premiership.

Moreover 2022-2030 is a watershed opportunity to elevate our Club to the power of former years ( 40,50 and 60's ) and really it's laughable that someone as small minded and bitter as you (Mach5) can in anyway make his comments be maintained with any truth ( without details especially) to the overwhelming avalanche of the might of our deserved and potentially sustained success.

The country tour is a disgrace?! Pert needs to go, his ego is out of control!!!! IF YOU ONLY KNEW WHAT I KNOW!!!!!!!!

lols.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
