The Pontiac Potato and Turn-it-up Trade Thread

In order to condense the threads on (ludicrous) trade suggestions and/or DFA nominations, how about we lob all the spuds in here?

Let me get the ball rolling:

I hear Brandon Jack has been delisted; or

Peg Leg Zac Clarke might be worth a shot;

Keegan Brookesby anyone;

Maybe we could trade Wattsy for Rhys Stanley.

Feel free to nominate your own random useless or past-it player and thank you for your efforts to streamline the board

Is that Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter? If so I think she has a brother or sister, called Scout.

A sister, i couldn’t post a photo of her because she seems to be allergic to bras.

Right, I’ll bite here @Roger Mellie- I presume you’re frustrated at the ‘moronic/underwhelming ‘ options that people have put forward in another thread as discussion points rather than focusing on legitimate trades as designated by your good self? So part of your schtick is to do a mellie version of a name and shame board? You sir, have made my weekend.

It happens every year Dan, although I don't think you should quote me as saying 'moronic' etc if I didn't use it the word.

I'm happy with the crickets - it's been 7 hours and no threads on Jarrad Grant (for example). Mission accomplished....and happy to light up your weekend

Don’t worry RM, the bloke potting you is the same one that reckons he drank 34 large Bintang beers in one session a few months back.  That’s the equivalent of 37 pints. Either “moronic” or full of sh!t.  I suspect the latter.

Back to your topic, Gibson from North worth more than a cursory glance.

Wasn't sure of the right place to post this tweet from Cale Morton. Nice sense of self-deprecating humour:

Remembering the ultimate 'mega-trade'

On this day 5 years ago I was part of the mega trade which saw David Rodan get to Melbourne, pick 88 to PA and myself to WC.

    The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

    It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

    When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
