I'm glad David Koch isn't our President!

He has paid out big time on the players for losing last night.  http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/port-adelaide-chairman-david-koch-puts-power-players-on-notice-20170910-gyekx4.html

This gives the tenor of his decree "If they're not prepared to win a premiership for this club, we basically don't want them. Let us know and we'll trade them”.

Ouch!

There are lots of reasons why they lost so a bit rough for players to hear that stuff straight after a heartbreaking game.  Port take 'tough love' to a whole new level.

Koch is making a habit of giving his coach, leaders and players a public dressing down but that stuff should stay private, in my book.

David Koch has a massive ego and is a big time self promoter. He is a massively over- rated media performer and just watching him makes me cringe. Hopefully this rant backfires in a major way he comes out with egg on his face. I bet the players think he is a huge self- abuser.

I have never followed Priddis much as a player, but i really enjoyed watching him give his all, nothing to lose and leaving it all on the field, didn't look slow tonight. Good on him, first rate way to play your last game. However watching Wines play makes me want to sue the club for emotional abuse. I also think that WC got its money's worth out of Mitchell the guy is a sniper but wow he makes an extraordinary coach. He gets some of the credit for turning a bunch of oea-hearts into lions...

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
