Thanks guys but neither function appears as an option for 'Reply' .

Admittedly, they disappeared a few weeks prior to the software upgrade so not sure where they went or why.

Back AND RUNNING for me!?!? :)

I like that I can now see the position in the scroll bar to the right when looking on my phone. Used to bug me not seeing it before because I didn't know whether it was faster to go up or down to get out of a thread.

an old problem......................

on sub-forum 'melbourne demons'

go to page 2

read any thread

press 'go to topic listing' at bottom

returns to 'melbourne demons' page 1..........................not page 2

I'm not really sure that is a bug. I can see it being annoying but it's not a feature that's not working.

One possible "bug"... the "Mark Forum as Read" button/link at the bottom of the Demonland Forums page, doesn't appear to do anything (it appears there is no longer a "Mark Site as Read" option).

This does indeed work. It worked for me. Your browser could be the issue. What are you using (type of computer or phone and what browser)?

FYI only, we seem to have lost the post numbers on the thread - eg. refer post 43 above. Which can be useful.

I've also realised, just having read some posts on how bad we were over the last 10 years, that we need to have another emoticon for "slash the wrists" because "sad" just doesn't quite cut it.

Nice upgrade.

The add on is not currently compatible but it should be soon. Remind me down the track to check back if you don't see it reappear.

I noticed that when writing a 'reply' the options for fort size and font colour no longer appear.  They were quite useful.

Also, is the standard font of the new software supposed to be super big size (especially on the 'forum' page) or is it just my computer/screen?

Thanks.

This is all working for me. Can you screen shot what you are referring to re: font size and colour not appearing?

Also a screenshot of the supersized text you are referring to.

Also handy info is operating system (windows, mac or other) and browser (Internet explorer, firefox, chrome, other). Or what type of phone (iphone, android or other).

Yeah. I'm mucking around with stuff so you'll notice colour changes and other gremlins like activity about.

I'm playing around with those like/reactions. I'm going to add like, love, sad, angry etc. It's just making my custom images really small at the moment so I have to work out what's happening.

fair enough, that's why i said a 'problem' not a bug. just mentioned it for completeness

using the return-arrow gets back to right page but then your thread read position is not updated (at that time)

while i'm in whinge mode..........still don't like the double-space default for new-line

in fact no way to force a single line space.

don't know what happens on a phone but this must waste a lot of real estate unnecessarily

I know what you mean but if I change it then it changes every post in the forum and makes looking back at old posts really hard.

We're stuck with it.

I've an indent button for desktop posting but it is not available on tablets and phones as the real estate isn't there.

The software lets be choose which text editor icons appear for desktop, tablets and phones. Desktops obviously have more real estate and hence more options. This is why you might not be able to edit text colour and size on a phone.

You can use BBCode to change these on those devices.

what i'm saying is the new-line key is mapped to double-cr in your customisation, so couldn't you map the tab key to a single-cr (assuming of course you have that choice in customisation). That way we would have a choice of single spacing (tab) or double spacing (new-line) without affecting all the existing history.
