I would be shocked if they did...

We're making them look good tonight.

Not really - they've killed us in contested footy and spread

Sure Bruce would have had an orgasm.

BT did.

Lets see

No midfield

No fwd options

...

No hope

Why the hell wont they reward our tackling. Been going on all night.

You'd think Bugg would rip this game apart given he wont play for the next 5 weeks.

Lewis is no leader and Harmes kicks like Bugg.

You can tell that Bruce is longing for the Swans to kick away.

Where is our forward structure.

In the Grandstand

Not our night

Just a couple too many nqrs has hurt us. Bugg, ANB, Stretch, Wagner, White, Harmes. You can afford 2 or 3 of these guys but not 6.

Zac just shouldered Hannan high.

MRP???

Umpires oblivious to the rules

Push in the back. No call.

Swans player legged. No call.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
