Will use this new app little.

Too "overdone"

Has no one ever learnt KISS  ffs

Agreed there was nothing wrong with the old one, ease of use, believe it or not I work for a company who uses software first built in the 80's  it does what it is supposef to so they just update the user front end each Windows   their attitude it ain't broke

I love the general look and feel of the new app, but it is all a bit too busy. I would rather less volume and better content than to be flooded with half-arsed articles that say nothing, interviews with players who say nothing, and a sea of almost identical red and blue images. The old app was clearer and a better communication tool. The worst part is it is constantly crashing on my tablet, saying "MelbourneFC app needs to close".

I agree with the KISS comments above - effective simplicity always wins the day.

As for the younger person who said old people are so cute... if you get to your 50's you are going to feel an absolute dick for even thinking that.

As I said early the best info comes from Demonland IMO it does not have the same level of political speak/ censorship  as the MFC site.

But it may sell the information to agencies for a profit (a last we'll be in the black!)

If you're using the internet on your home connection, which has your name, address and details connected to the IP, if someone wants it, they can get it. Complaining about an app from a licensed professional sports team is just silly.

That may be, but the sad fact is that I doubt you and I are in their target demographic ...

Quite possible ....probable  !!

For mine if nothing else the app doesn't scale well on the phone. It's clumsy..  I'm reasonably able on a phone, for an old phart , the app is poor.

If clubs lose sight of the value of paid up members they have lost the plot.

Have just noticed how slow the new app is, scrolling speed is terrible.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
