Everyone should be made to earn it. Underperformance will continue for as long as we continue to accept it. He's been horrid and easily our worst (overall) in the last 4 weeks.

Then he tripped over.

Not even close.

Push in the back to weideman. 30m directly in front. Kicks into man on the mark..

Good to see Lucas Cook finally gets a touch at Casey even if it is a footy to the face.

No.

Not even close.

Seriously, no.

That's not to say he's in sparkling form, he's not and he needs to lift. But he's seriously not even close to our worst in the last month. Try Harmes, Kent or OMac for starters, let alone those who weren't good enough to hold their spots (ANB, Michie, Newton, Kennedy).

I would have thought Garlett firstly. Hasn't performed since Rnd 7 against the Suns. Bottom 4 performer in all rounds since and WOG for us y'day. Averaging just over 1 goal per game since the Suns match and would have thought he would need 2 - 3 on average (at least) to justify his position, especially seeing he is doing little else to contribute. I realise they are diff roles but pretty sure Ben Kenn could handle small forward role in place of Garlett. Need to send a big message here and actually put someone in who who might be willing to work harder to keep the ball i50. Have to try something to improve our forward pressure.

Harmes would be next off the block but his recent form (without being acceptable) hasn't been anywhere as bad as Garlett's (until yesterday where he was only 2nd to Garlett for WOG). Yes i know he isn't a stay at home small forward but he does spend a fair bit of time i50 or close to it. Could instruct him to play deeper regardless.

Garlett / Harmes averages from Rnd 8 to 11, 2016

Eff Disp 11 / 39

Goals 5 / 4

Tackles 11 / 14

1%s 3 / 3

Clangers 9 / 12

He would need 2-3 on average? at least?

Eddie Betts is the best small forward in the league and he averages 2.45 per game. Are you saying that Garlett would need to be as good as Betts just to warrant getting a game with us?

Casey doing most of the attacking but simply can't convert.

Bit rude providing an update in the middle of a pointless argument KC

Pederson goes back with the flight. Ball spills and Kennedy wins holding the ball.

Behind to kennedy
