The Casey Scorpions are in real strife at 3/4 time. They had the wind but put in an absolute shocker of a quarter then allowing the Magpies to kick five goals straight outscore them for the term. They trail by three goals but it's virtually all over.

The Biz remained busy that qtr and we are seeing more involvement from Newton increasingly in the last 2 qtrs.

Toump went into the rooms wincing and looking slightly unsteady after head knock at the start of the qtr.

Wet, windy and friggin cold here at start of the last.

Nice set shot goal to king. Lovely kicking action.

10.5 to 7.6 at 9 mins in. Wind has dropped off significantly. Scorps can still do this.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
