MFC MEMBERSHIP - SEASON 2015

I reckon we have a good argument for our membership to be tax deductable. We are a basket case in need of charity.

That performance yesterday was a massive kick in the guts for all demon supporters and members...bloody discraceful. Its games like that which will hurt next years membership numbers..no doubt!

We're certainly not shy about asking for handouts! :P

Maybe it's the players buy in one when they play like crap...

I think you're onto something. You know how teams have penalties for players who do the wrong thing or who get too much media exposure, etc? I'd love the team to come to the idea that the penalty should be to buy memberships for schoolkids.

A BIG jump in less than a week.

Will we make 36K?.....looks like it after beating smashing the filth

Can it keep rising? I thought the membership year finished on 31 July?

If it stopped at that number, I'd still be happy. After the mediocre year we've had, following on from 8 previous years of horror, to still have 47 short of 36,000 signed up members is great I reckon.

don't know if this is a final figure, but at least we hit the 36k mark

what did we end up last year with?

36002

mfc site shows 2 figures

the lower one (age) is on home page

the slightly higher one is on the membership page

presumably the sold a handful just after official cutoff, or, there is an error on the website

That Age story is somewhat, but not entirely, flawed by not recognising in the data that there's a big difference between free-to-air and non free-to-air broadcast audiences. It doesn't change the result, but may help explain it better. And I accept it's a bit chicken and egg - if we had better engagement numbers we'd get more free-to-air exposure.

I particularly like that if we want to criticise the data behind the story, in this case we can actually, legitimately blame Jack Watts.
