Also said that Trengove, Toumpas and early pick part of the deal. I reckon that is too much... or is it?

Yeah, way too much! 3 top 5 picks with average age of 20; for 1, 25 year old

Playing golf with a MFC man today. He got text while we were on 4th hole (f..ed my game after that!). He also said "Danger" is a done deal too. Will believe when I see it.

Guess it's wishful thinking that we could snag Dangerfield as well but wouldn't it be a massive coup.

Would be nice to shove it up Geelong in doing so.

gees I wonder if this golf mate is the same as my golf mate??

I tend to find that one rumour might be circulated to smoke up the real target (who for some reason I still believe may be Sloane)

no loss here!!!!

Used us as bait to get the job he really was after at the crows.

Just like he texted to Dank : "Get me the good stuff"

Have to vent spleen on this

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/simon-goodwin-signs-on-with-melbourne-and-turns-back-on-adelaide-20140918-10il4v.html

Supposedly The Age's announcement on Goodwin's appointment!

Did they quote Roos? No!

Did they quote Goodwin? No!

They quoted Hird!

Of all people! While it was good to hear praise of our new coach this is all about MFC. Nothing to do with that obnoxious person!

Not one word from the MFC side!! Grrrrrrrrrr!

Not to mention the only photo they could manage to dig up shows the Essendon sponsorship brigade in the background. This is not about the drug cheats, and their sponsors should not be receiving exposure. MFC should ask them to withdraw that image.

I'd prefer Crouch to Sloane. :P

I'd take Sloane ahead of Crouch.

But be happy with either.

Last year I thought Sloane was a B+ Grader that wouldn't make an A grade player.

This year Sloane shown that he was an A grader - with the potential to go even further.

Sloane reminds me a bit of Nathan Jones in the way he just breaks through barriers - probably on limited talent.

Another first time coach which doesn't concern me too much as all 4 Prelim coaches this weekend are first time coaches,so I have faith in Roosy in what he's looking for.

AFC echo's Brisbane stuff up with Voss last year.

2013 Brisbane tried to high-jack our approach to Roos: Melb WON!!

2014 Adelaide tried to high-jack our approach to Goodwin: Melb WON!!

Real turning point for our Club!!

This.

These things starting to go our way.

How was Lang Lang playing today? Great little track.

Great golf course but absolutely crap golf. Played a few times in last few months. Wish I lived closer!

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
