I'd float Trengove for trade at years end.

If he nets us a first rounder, we've hit the lottery.

Would get a second round pick at very best. I'd bundle up Trengove and Toumpas back to a South Australian team for a second and fourth round pick.

or is it skills?

Confidence in the game plan and in your team mates to execute it. West Coast have that in spades.

Bit harsh..the expectations of captaincy are weighing him down....

...oh wait.

Is Watts lazy today or injured? Training reports on here had him with a bit of a sore leg. In a way I hope he is sore because if he ain't he is plain lazy.

Frustrating to watch Nic Nat a match winner vs a player with a heart size of a pea!

oh well back to the drawinf board.. again

Darlings last goal gave me 6 more fantasy points. Was a good finish to the game.

Jazus that game was an enormous, monumental embarrassment. We are firmly stuck in reverse gear and are on the verge of being the worst ever side to play AFL/VFL. Players, take a bow. How many of you claim to have had a red hot go today?

You're way too harsh on Toumpas.

Most of demonland are, and they will claim they always had faith in him when it comes good, get used to it.

Toumpas and trengove need to be traded !!! Send them to adelaide for walker

Let's leave Toumpas alone for just 5 minutes - how was Howe? Fitzpatrick? Spencer? Trengove? Grimes? Pedersen? Bail? Players who have had more than 15 months in the AFL system.

Why?

Still a teenager, second year of footy, actually didn't play too badly in either game, should I go on? Already posters want him sent home for a packet of chips.

Why?

18 disposals, 7 marks 4 tackles and a goal against a very good outfit isn't terrible, especially considering he played as a forward for most of the game

want a player to pick on look at old mate in number 9, he needs to find some form before the end of the year or him and his mate Tappy should be shown the door

i agree on Trengove 100% But Toumpas has no pace. That cannot be coached.

His goal was in junk time.

Good point, although I never saw a future in most of those players so their mediocrity doesn't hurt so badly.

All you weak pricks on here saying trade Toumpas are part of the problem. Roos has stated time and time again that the future of this club is not be be left for the younger players. Time to leave him alone and let him develop. Get stuck into our senior players

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
