Im excited to see what Dom barry and JKH can bring to the table.

From what i saw of Barry, a nice left foot if i recall correctly, and very nice delivery inside the 50.

Very keen to see the midfielders. vince, cross, jones and tyson isn't a bad core.

not to mention the potential of the younger mids now that there is the support of cross, vince etc

This is what the NAB Challenge is all about, Pedersen will relish the chance to nail a spot, he kicked 20 goals in 16 games for North Melbourne so he can kick goals and he has had a full pre season, looking forward to seeing what he can do, not what he did in the past, same for a rejuvenated Trengove.......

the new midfield.......and King if he gets a run will love it....he is good mark and has reasonable speed, sure he has been told not to body up but use that instead

Love Jake's work. I can recall a post game interview a couple of years ago where N Jones mentioned something along the lines of Jake's competitive attitude providing a bost to teammates. He strikes me as the sort of bloke you would want next to you in the trenches.

Based on the last drill today, which was for the Friday squad only, Byrnes and Clisby didn't participate. Lock them in as 2 of the 3 emergencies who won't play this week.

Oops i didn't realise that, oh well the four on my bench wouldn't change, just add Strauss and Clisby as subs

Id say hoping that we dont have injuries I'd have 8 different players in the red vests throughout the game.

Ie. 2 start sub for first game. At 1/4 they come on. Half time pick 2 new subs. 3/4 take off 2 more.

That way 8 players play the majority of 3 quarters.

The other 18 get managed throughout the game.

Most teams would kill to have Jeremy Howe as their full forward
