I saw a little kid with his signed melbourne jumper in my shopping centre today. Obviously came from Auskick but I thought good on you kid. Glad to see you are wearing it with pride. Or maybe he was forced to.

Regardless of the situation, it's great to drink a lot when Melbourne play. If we get up you can celebratory drunk and if we get hammered, morose. Great times!

Must be a pretty boring party if you are on Demonland?

Or are we just that interesting?

7.00, bit early to be at the party

This is a big game for Strauss and Davis.

Good luck boys!

Melbourne is now the club of choice for hipsters, who chose it for the sake of being different to the mainstream clubs.

We are kind of like the Grateful Dead of football.

I agree with the dead part.

much bigger game for Grimes and Trengove

will they ever stand up and have matchwinning games?

Damn you BBO. Beat me to it. Foiled again.

Thanks Fox Footy for reminding me that we lost by 10 goals last time we met. Depressing stuff.

At least Gary will put on a good show for us.

Let's just sit back and watch the greatest player to ever lace a boot.

At least we'll get to appreciate something tonight.

HOW THE HELL DID WE GET MCBURNEY AGAIN!?

Good boy Jack

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
