"But but but we have done nothing wrong" said the stupid essendon supporter.

I always get confused with resigns and re-signs.

At first look I thought Michael Evans had retired .... Almost fell off my chair!

If they are guilty Hird is going to look like a massive [censored]. Imagine how hard it will be for the afl to ban one off legends of the game.

Is this where they start to walk the plank single file?

Did i read today that the "weapon" has started proceedings to sue the club??

The cheating bastards are going down Titanic style. "It can't happen"...But it is...

Where did you hear this?

Riled Robinson to tell all

"As the supplements controversy continued to erupt on Saturday, it also emerged Essendon ruckman Patrick Ryder had a brief meeting at AFL House on Thursday to clarify part of the statement he made when interviewed by ASADA.

Such a mess this whole incident.

It's a lot like our tanking crapola.

I have said to a mate who is a Dons supporter that they will be fined and have officials suspended ie exactly what happened to us.

Players found not guilty but club to cop it through suspensions and fines.

This is way worse than our tanking mate, considering their evidence was bloody shaky on us.

The Bombers are guilty looking down the Barrell of WADA.

They cannot go easy on them otherwise clubs will take the risk in future.

The Bombers must be hammered for this.

I have a tiny bit of sympathy for the players, but absolutely none for the club.

"Make sure he gets the real good stuff this week" James Hird text to Dank.

They knew what was going on...

I still think the club will cop it worse than the players though.

Riled Robinson to tell all on Hird

Former Essendon high-performance boss Dean Robinson will break his silence in a paid television interview on Monday night, intensifying pressure on the Bombers as well as coach James Hird.

Robinson has a diametrical view to Hird over what happened in 2012 during the club's administering of a contentious injecting program, and is ready to deliver a tell-all on the Seven Network in an interview with commentator Luke Darcy.

Evans maybe not be Robinson Crusoe after all this...

# this bombs about to Blow!!!

This is what you call an Implosion......crumbling on the inside

Interesting that the two most senior people to resign or the two people that had NO knowledge of the situation. I guess they have their integrity intact.

Hird does himself and his golden balls reputation more damage every day.

A bit misleading there CFH. "Clarifying" is not the same as "changing", and when a print journo writes the words 'it also emerged', they are more often than not drawing a long bow to the truth.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
