This might have already been posted but I heard pick 2 for Harley Bennell.

Did you hear that off facebook by any chance ? Through the person posting in the mighty melbourne demons page?

Facebook yes but on the trade rumours page.

I posted this on the other page

God given talent that bloke but I just fear he will go off the rails at our club. With Aaron Davey gone who will be there to look after him like Karmichael Hunt is at GC

Twitter reporting that we met with Bernie Vince today to discuss a potential move to the club. No mention of what picks etc may be involved. Would love Vince at the club IF pick 2 was not involved.

if they are after pick 2, they'd want to add a lot of extra pieces

Steven, Dyson, Shiel and Bennell for pick #2 or separate offers? :P

Agree with this. I think there are a few more dominoes to fall in terms of picks and players before we go for Vince. At 28 he isn't worth the second pick in the draft. Mahoney mentioned we might be getting players and picks so it may be Vince, another player a second round pick (or something like that) for pick 2.

I heard Denham this morning on SEN mention that were now looking at Dom Tyson. I then heard from somebody else that this is right and it involves Blease and an exchange of picks. Has anybody else heard anything about it? From memory Tyson is coming off a knee, but he can play. Was keen to head to Richmond I believe after his first year at GWS.

Thanks for confirm this Warren. I heard this on SEN and have been waiting for someone to mention it all day. I didn't catch much else of what they said but said he was being looked at closely.

If it's Vince for the pick we get for Sylvia I would see it as at least evens to us.

If they want pick 2 and have their eyes on Aish, they'd want to throw much more in than a 28yo one paced - near fringe player at the Crows.

Norm are you talking through you sources or via us bunch of fools?

I'd take Vince for a third or fourth rounder, nothing more.

would be impressive if all as one.

I'd see it as a win only because Vince is more of a midfeidler than Sylvia ever was. Will be more than handy for us.

Tyson & pick 9 for Blease & pick 2, at a guess?

I'd do that trade.

A good mixture of outside run, carry and polish, with well built inside mids. :P

I'm not sure I would. It'd really depend on what the other offers were though. I'd take the offer if it was the only one we received though.

He's 28 and had an 'inconsistent' year with Adelaide.

What is it about him that appeals to us as a future player?

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
