LOL

do you have any confidence next year will be any different.......or the next........or the next......?

A small amount!

I have to hang onto something dc.

At the start of 2014 I never thought we would be about to do a Port 2013.

I dreamt of 5 -6 wins and that is still a slim chance.

I believe 2015 will see another modest gain with 2016 showing us around ninth.

I keep telling myself that we are starting from a VFL status team in 2012-13.

This year we have shown at least we are competitive most weeks.

That looks to be not much but is a hell of a gain on the Neeld years.

This year I only drink it after wins it was getting too expensive.

In spite of what dc says it has little to do with the single malt.

Just a realistic approach I believe.

OD it must be pretty bloody expensive if you're only drinking after our meagre win ratio.

Either that OD or i'm thinking you might be going a tad overboard with the celebrating after a rare win! I wouldn't blame you if you did

P.S. Still waiting on the brand :)

judging by how many wins uni blacks have had od that must be quite frequently :)

What I was suggesting is if you drink after losses you consume quite a bit RN.

Currently have Glenmoringe , Glenfiddich and Laphroaig

All good numbers with different tastes

There is a lot to fix dee- luded I agree.

This is just a subject discussed in a week when there is not much to talk about.

All my knowledge on logo's says you keep it simple.

Our current logo fails that test.

Just way too busy for me.

I think its split around 50/50. but what I'm suggesting is that many of the 50% against it, don't like it because of spite; that they associate it with someone they don't like, rather than the piece itself.

Tis a fine line isn't it?

I tend to agree the one taken from the Demon lounge is a bit simplistic and sterile.

However, I reckon the one we have is way too busy and incorporates too much historical minutiae.

While I have said we should bring back some form of the old Chinese demon, I can live with a compromise on the current one.

Get the water mark of the original rules off the blue background and then get rid of the Southern Cross on the right side of the shield. Work out a way to get balance back into the overall logo by repositioning the football or trident after that has been done.

Or for those who don't like the 80's Demon, why don't we bring back the 90's one? Simple and to the point and coincided with a decent era (the Balme/Daniher years). Ever since we got rid of it, we have been absolute poo.

IMO the current formal logo Emblem Is Warm & rich in history, as it needs to be... this one just being spoken of Now, is flat, plain, Cold, & stark, it has No soul.

To me there Is no reason I can think of that says we cannot have a Formal Emblem, & also a Logo, a caricature Logo.

if it gets a bit too much.... give this a nip before bed OD particularly on Sunday evo's after games.

Hi guys didn't want to start a new topic for this question. I'm just wondering if any of you talented graphic designers out there have or could design something for me to take to a sign writer to get made up to go in my new double glass door fridge light box for my demons sports bar? My email is [email protected] if anyone could help thanks in advance

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
