So did your opinion change, or did it stay the same throughout 2012?

Good question. Going 360 would imply some change in thinking only to arrive back at the same thought. But alas my analogy was only in jest and poking mild fun at a poster who said 360 when i assumed they really meant 180.

To answer the question my opinion has remained the same about Jack's prospects since mid last year when he moved to the back half. An inspired move on Neelds behalf and one that has allowed him to play to his strengths (vision, great disposal skills, courage to take intercept marks, reading of the play, ability to run and carry etc) in a way playing forward wasn't.

As i've said before i reckon opposing teams will soon enough be regularly playing a defensive forward on him to try and limit his influence.

For what its worth i reckon he will eventually become a modern day utility. He'll largely play of the half back flank, spend some time on the wing and a bit in the midfield, push up the ground for a goal or two like he did in the first NAB game and occasionally play up forward (where by the time he completely fills out by say 25 or so he will be amazingly difficult to match up on).

I recall Jack spinning through 360 degrees for no apparant reason once, but he still slotted the goal.

On the other hand you could go from 'well balanced' to seeing the world through my eyes.

He was probably being unselfish and looking to give the ball off to someone in a better position. But not surprising with our usually depopulated forward line he couldn't find anyone and had to finish the job himself. Edited March 19, 2013 by Muvver Jones

Super coach stats released for NAB cup and jack came top 10. Not that that will mean much to his detractors.

I'm a fan and believe he is red and blue.

We can't lose him nor can we provide long term contracts. All players and coaches need to be kept honest.

My concerns are he was not recruited by Neeld.

I hope his versatility does not turn into a problem solver. Eg Brad Green who played everywhere in his career when he should have been a permanent half forward flanker.

When he fills out he could be our CHB or CHF. A bookend for J Hogan.

We are yet to see his best.
